Save yourself hundreds of pounds (literally) and phone a few solicitors, I don't know where to start, I dumped them after one day and saved £450 easily.

We were 'duped' by the selling agents asking if we wanted to use THEIR conveyancing team, we said yes to speed up the process, then i get two calls before the viewing, after the viewing they contact me again, I'm given a VERBAL quote of legal fees or £719 inc VAT, I think this is too goo to be true and agree, I'm then asked to pay for money laundering checks (£33 non refundable) Only when I pay this money am I sent a written quote in that quote I find I'm being passed to a solicitor that I could have easily contacted. The solicitor writes and demands another £33 for money laundering checks and sends her quote of £1250 (minimum) I question this and I'm quoted page 3 of my quote from Move With Us which allows for the solicitor to charge what they want in essence (small print) I complain to Move With Us, who say that they have no control over what the solicitor charges I ask for a different solicitor. I'm then passed to DC Law who make no contact except for an email asking me to call them for a quote!! I check my bank statement and find that Move With Us have taken an extra £25 without permission, I challenge this and am told it was a deposit. At this point I cancel the whole service and find my own conveyance, local and hundreds cheaper. Wow what a con, pressure sales too! I have written to complain to the selling estate agency and heard nothing except a half bothered phone message from someone at Move With Us who wants to discuss my complaint that was 4 days ago and he hasn't called back which tells you the story.

This company need outing publicly and fast, After a fight and being quoted what I had agreed to in recorded phone calls I managed to get my deposit back and they sent me the money laundering checks for my solicitor so all ok.

BUT the hidden charges are things that are included in the solicitors base price, but you get charged extra for so they can all earn a fat commission out of your hard earned savings, you have been warned.
