Very dissapointed with Lewis Wadsworth and all staff at their branch.

There is an abandoned car on my driveway, which has been there for over 6 months now, and it is all smashed up, and not very nice to look at, as well as taking up the driveway space.

After contacting them initially, they did nothing about this. Following numerous emails and calls to them, South Yorkshire Police, and Sheffield City Council, all of which advised that as the car is on private property, it is the responsibility of Lewis Wadsworth to remove the car.

Despite being told by the Police and Council that it is their responisbility to remove the car, Lewis Wadsworth still have not responded to my emails, and they only respond when I call them

They think it is fully acceptable for an abandoned car to be left on your driveway for over 6 months, and they are doing nothing about it.

Just think, if they can't be bothered to arrange to remove an abandoned car from my driveway, what will they do if you need serious repairs in a house you rent from them.

I would encourage everyone to avoid this irresponsible and uncaring agent.

I have read your comments re abandoned car. We can not take responsibility for a car that is parked on your driveway. I have spoken to the council and had a full apology from them as some of the information given out is not correct. You can just see us organising to have a car towed away from a private driveway with no proof of ownership and then somebody wants their car back. we always try and resolve problems but an abandoned car is always very tricky.

I had this same problem with a flat I lived in and someone left a scrapper. Ended up with Council involved and DVLA as was confirmed that management company of flats had no power to sort. Think your giving them a hard time here mate.

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our service but in our defence do not feel that you have been either fair or accurate with your comments. All problems with properties are promptly reported to our landlords whom we take instruction from. Your landlord has visited the property on several occasions to attend to any issues and instructed a contractor where necessary. I found Lewis Wadsworth's fees for managing lets to be good. Also,their new 'flat fee' for selling property for existing landlords is comparable to the online agents with the advantage of there being a local office / contacts.
