the worst experience i have had as a tenant ever. AVOID them like the plague and save yourself money and trouble. i am living ina flat with horrendous problems of damp and mold leaving me and my little girl ill. i am currently on an inhaler to treat the respiratory problems i have developed living in this hell hole that they have provided. we first reported the damp problems on the 23rd of august 2015. they ignored me despite daily phone calls and emails. finally once i send them a copy of the doctors note that it was mold inhalation causing my respiratory problems they sent a surveyor from a damp proofing company on the 17th of september. and then began the endless chase for the report. the report was sent out to them the véry next day and one lady at the office confirmed that she received it. the next day i spoke to the property manager emma who said they never received the report and probably it went to the landlord. obviously she was lying. finally she told me it had gone to the wrong branch. again numerous phone calls and mails later they said they were sending another contractor to check the property. he came in on the 10th of october. he showed me the report from kenwood damp proofing which said it is rising mold and it needs to be replastered and lots of work carried out before the property could be considered fit to live in. but this new contractor (the devils advocate) said it is not rising damp but ventilation problem and a dehumidifier would solve everything. he said nothing about any repairs. that evening he comes in with an industrial grÄÂe dehumidifier that is almost 3ft high and 4ft wide and makes the loudest possible noise and asks us to leave it switched on in the room. i cant believe they would even consider this fit for household use. one week gone by with the machine left switched on and our electricity bill sky rocketing and we are asked to carry this into our living room. are these people brain dead? we have a two yeard old running around our house and how do they expect us to leave this in the living room. its been 3 months since we reported the damp and nothing has been done although it has escalated into a health and safety issue now. when we came to view the flat they didnt ahow us the garden saying they dont have keys. when we went to sign our contract ,it was only after all the paperwork was done and they robbed us off our money lisa allen told us with a sly grin that the garden fence is broken and it would be repaired in two weeks. when we moved in the garden fence was broken,the bathroom sink was blocked and shower cjrtain rail broken. we started ringing them about it from march and phoning and emailing every single day finally in july they fixed the sink and shower curtain. 4 months for something so basic. the fence was repaired in august. then we had problems with the communal door lock. the door remained open for couple of months because if we shut it the door would be jammed and we were all trapped in. there have been instances of me being locked in this building and missing important appointments. it took them two months to repair the lock. we are still waiting to find out what will be done about the damp and mold. i dont expect anything to be done. 2 move is the WORST letting agents i have dealth with in all my yeras of being. absolutely disgusting. just a bunch of greedy people who lie through their teeth to make money. oh and also the damp problem was an ongling one in tjis flat .the contractor told us there were issues earlier and obviously they didnt do proper repairs just an eye wash to trap innocent people like us. yet they rent thtis flat out knowing full well that we have a young child. i feel cheated and betrayed. i will be reporting them to concerned authorities and also make sure tjat none of my friends or family wi,, ever have to go through the ordeal of dealing with them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you want to lose your money health and time do not deal with them.

Information for Customers We are members of The Property Ombudsman (TPO) and as such aim to provide the highest standards of service to all our customers. To ensure that your interests are safeguarded, we have a Complaints Process in place. The aim of this process is to resolve any issues or concerns as quickly as possible, although in the majority of cases we hope that matters such as these are resolved at branch level without the need for further escalation. Stage One – Individual (Handling) Member of Staff All complaints should, in the first instance, be directed to the “handling” staff member at the Branch that you have been dealing with. Complaints made in writing will be acknowledged within 3 working days. They will endeavour to resolve your complaint immediately, and no later than within 10 working days of the first notification. Stage Two – Branch Manager If you remain dissatisfied, you may then further your complaint, which must be in writing, to the Branch Manager responsible for the Branch in question. You must write to them within one month of receiving the initial handling staff member’s response. The Branch Manager will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days of receipt of your letter and provide you with a full written response within 15 working days. Stage Three – Managing Director If you remain dissatisfied, you may address your concerns in writing to our Managing Director, Mr C Gilbert, within one month of the response from the relevant Branch Manager. The relevant office you are dealing with can provide you with Mr Gilbert’s contact details. Your letter will be acknowledged within 3 working days of receipt and you will be provided with a “final viewpoint” written response on behalf of the Company within 15 working days of receipt of your letter. Stage Four - The Property Ombudsman After you have received a response from the Managing Director, you may approach The Property Ombudsman if you are not satisfied with the response given. Details of how to do this will be contained within the final viewpoint letter, namely; “Information in this regard can be found within The Property Ombudsman Consumer Guide or online at www.tpos.co.uk Please note that you must do so within twelve months of the date of the final viewpoint letter received. The Property Ombudsman will not consider your complaint until our internal complaints process has been completed”.
