Lichfield office - customer service beyond poor. Promised on market 3 days took 14 days, couldn't communicate between themselves, kept getting told different things. and it was pure luck that property sold as buyers were infuriated with them aswell they requested viewing it took 3 weeks for Jayman to process and then they only got it when the chased it up. We actually instructed them to put the property back on the market and they refused.
I won't go into all the problems but it was a relief when we only had to deal with the solicitors. But to top it off (and why im writing these reviews) we found out they have over charged us for their fees. Property agreed to sell at 1.25% selling price they sent letter detailing differently we challenged them they said it was 1.25% of estimated selling price that fell imbetween valuation, they refused to rewrite the letter stating it wasnt necessary - a big mistake. Property sold for less they still charged the same and now cliam it is a fixed price. S promised to look into it and ring us back the same day and as with all other occassions this did not happend. S is still denying it so if you do use these guys beware they do not fulfil any promises chase them up on everything and make sure you get everything in writing.
The staff well; everything was always to much trouble for the female member of staff and they were always to busy funny when they say they are so quiet in the next breath and stuart the estate agent do not trust him with a barge poll he has the gift of the gab but one thing he did very well is to not fulfill any promises he made. Also in the Lichfield area tydemans tend to significantly undervalue property to speed up sales and increase the number of sales as the credit crunch is biting and they need their fees to stay afloat whereas Connells over price significantly to catch buyers by offerring huge discounts. Happy buying a selling.

I would stay clear and use a more proper estate agent.
