Unfortunately our experience with Proffit & Holt was unbelievably disappointing… We had our offer accepted for 2 weeks with all documents and solicitors ready for purchase, we have now lost our property because a second offer has been put through even though we had been promised ... My recent experience with the Abbots Langley branch was very disappointing. I choose them in good faith local company but they seemed very lack lustre and were poor communicators.They used the excuse of Covid circumstances that were causing problems getting Tennant’s, when they did it ... Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
