Initial fees seemed high in relation to other agents we looked at. Was nearly double that of Foxtons\/Marsh & Parsons who we were also in contact with.

Arranging inspection was very quick and putting our offer down was easy. William was very polite during the process. It took some time for our offer to be accepted however we were told this was down to the landlord's responsiveness.
Michael was helpful in dealing with chasing the landlord and picking up our case when other staff members were not available which was beneficial.
Moving in was easy and William was flexible to meet us at the property at the start of our tenancy which alleviated some pressure of moving.
One improvement could be better communication between the point of the offer being accepted and getting the AST to sign. There was a delay in the landlord getting a gas safety inspection which slowed the process by a few weeks however we were only told about this after we called for updates. It should be taken into consideration that the landlords travel internationally which probably didn't help the agent in this regard.
Our deposit needed to be amended from 6 weeks to 5 weeks following new legislation that came into effect from June 2019 which is the month our tenancy started. This meant we had to have the AST amended and part of the deposit returned to us. This came at our request, and I would have expected the agents to have noticed this before we pointed it out.
We had a recurring problem with other agents where we would give them specific criteria of what we were looking for and they would try their luck by taking us to whatever they had available which sometimes had extra bedrooms, was 15 minutes further from the tube to where we wanted to be, or completely didn't match what we wanted. We did not have this issue with Ludlow Thompson and they took us to a property which matched 100% of what we were looking for first time (we actually offered on the first property the day after seeing it), which was refreshing after dealing with so many other agents who seemed determined to waste our time.
On balance, the staff were very polite and easy to work with and it was a positive experience as we got the home we wanted. I would like to work with William and Michael again the next time I need a property to buy/rent.

I have been with Ludlows for over 8 years and felt the 2017 renewal was a good time for a change. I put my rental flat contract up for tender between Ludlow's and KFH. My main reason for doing this was Michael. He is driven and professional and exactly what you want from your agent. Over all I have been impressed with both Michael and also Kearn. Only criticism I have is re the fee for drawing up a contract with Ludlows. When you have been with an agent for 8 years and the contract is exactly the same as expiry, I would expect this to be free. Apart from that - very happy.

Quick service at the start, then it starts to slow down, as first time renters and students perhaps needed a bit more hand holding, did not know which documents were very important to sign and what needed immediate attention and what ones could wait. Became stressful very quickly.

I phoned up Ludlow Thompson and spoke to Keith, requesting a visit to one of the houses, he set this up and offered a few other options, and recommended a house not yet on the market, turned out to be the one I have and is in a perfect location and price. Did not try to offer houses that are just over our budget. And suggested to look at the housing asap as they go quickly, made my decision easier and quicker.

My friend and I were looking for a rental in SW London and Keith was our contact from the start. He took us to good viewings that matched our criteria (and so didn't waste our time like a lot of other agents!) and we ended up going with one of his properties. He was super efficient with all of the paper work and would call us just to give us quick updates throughout the process.
