From a previous career of being a PA and having no pension we bought a couple of buy to let properties with my husband Steve\\\\\\\'s redundancy monies from the closure of the Selby Coalmines. It was during this experience of being a first time Landlord in 2001 that I saw a niche in the market for a good honest le
tting agent which gave a transparent package to clients.
We are a true independent family run business, as in 2012 my daughter Sharon joined the business and in 2015 my son in law Davy also joined. With their wealth of knowledge from the outside industry they brought a fresh innovative approach to keep us abreast of the competition, they both love the business as much as I do which shows in their enthusiastic and dynamic characters.
We were the first agent in the Selby area to become ARLA licensed, and have supported members of staff through exams to become MARLA qualified. We are a registered SAFE Agent, and a member of the Property Ombudsman Lettings and NLA.
I am of retirement age and been married for nearly 50 happy years to my husband Steve who sadly passed away May 2020 and who was so proud of what we had achieved at Jigsaw and will be sadly missed every day.
Steve & I have 2 children; Sharon and Kevin who both are also passionate about property and 5 gorgeous grandchildren. I am very proud to have such a close family and absolutely fantastic loyal members of the Jigsaw family.
