Established in 1996, the company has an excellent reputation in the Halifax and Calderdale area for which we are proud and this has enabled the business to grow from strength to strength over the years. We are now the largest independent estate agent in Calderdale with offices in Halifax, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Sowerby Bridge and Hebden Bridge. The Fees were comparable with other agents, slightly lower. With hindsight we should have gone elsewhere, paid slightly more but with one that we could have trusted.

Dear 'Mafia Diva', I am very surprised by your comments. We are instructed on behalf of the seller and work very hard to ensure we get the best possible price for their property. We would never encourage a vendor to accept an offer that they were not happy with and as our fees are structured so we get a percentage of the sale price it would not make sense for us to want to sell the property for a lower price than it is worth. Fees were competitive and as stated with no hidden charges and of a rate that you might expect to pay from a high street Estate Agent. When taking into account the amount of work put in by staff at Peter David in what turned out to be a very difficult sale, the fixed fee proved to be excellent value. We are aware that some online agents are able to charge lower fees but I doubt that we they would have been as much help given the circumstances. You get what you pay for.
