The fee that I have paid to Kate Burns, Mortgage Consultant, is comparable to that which I would have paid to my long-standing financial advisor, & this has yielded a mortgage offer from a 'High Street' lender, which is also, closely comparable. Given the different complications that have arisen & been surmounted, I consider this value for money.

Dear 'Mafia Diva', I am very surprised by your comments. We are instructed on behalf of the seller and work very hard to ensure we get the best possible price for their property. We would never encourage a vendor to accept an offer that they were not happy with and as our fees are structured so we get a percentage of the sale price it would not make sense for us to want to sell the property for a lower price than it is worth. Fees were competitive and as stated with no hidden charges and of a rate that you might expect to pay from a high street Estate Agent. When taking into account the amount of work put in by staff at Peter David in what turned out to be a very difficult sale, the fixed fee proved to be excellent value. We are aware that some online agents are able to charge lower fees but I doubt that we they would have been as much help given the circumstances. You get what you pay for.

In keeping with good business practice, Peter David Properties, a Member of The Property Ombudsman, aims to provide the highest standards of service to all our customers. To ensure that your interests are safeguarded, a complaints procedure has been introduced. This provides for the matter to be dealt with internally and in the event that we are not able to deal with the issue to our mutual satisfaction, by reference to The Property Ombudsman.

If you believe you have a complaint, please write in the first instance to the Sales / Lettings Manager at the address as below:
