Agent was very patient with me. He took me around many properties at my budget and never forced me or tried to persuade me to buy the one he wanted to sell. Once I had made my decision, he moved things along swiftly, constantly negotiating with the vendor's solicitors who were very slow. The agent also made himself available for viewings after we had put the offer in and between exchange and completion so I could measure up with builders and carpet fitters and prepare for my move. I am now comfortably in my new property and looking for another! Castle's, please find me another one!

I've been lucky that the sale of my property, from valuation through to completion, went through comparatively quickly. All along I felt informed of the latest developments and Panos was proactive in offering solutions to the minor problems that cropped up. The team at Castles certainly don't conform to the impression I've previously had of most estate agents - thanks Steve, Panos and Leigh for all your help.

Castles Harringay (Turnpike Lane) were an absolute pleasure to work with, every step of the way for our recent sale. The team worked unstintingly to get viewings from genuine prospective buyers. Our property was by no means an easy one to sell and we had a few complications along the way - but Panos and Leigh worked through all of the issues - and kept us smiling. A great team - with strong experience, integrity, honesty and valuable common sense. We'd strongly recommend them. and definitely work with them again..... when the time comes to move again.

Can't recommend Castles enough for their tenacious ability to grapple with any kind of problem that might come in a house sale. That's when a good estate agent really earns their beans, and would recommend them highly to anyone who wants friendly, professional, efficient service - with bells on!

I have actually not finished the completion of the sale of my house but had to comment on the great service and support I have been given so far.
This is a sensitive matter as it is in relation to my parents estate going through probate, who have passed recently, making this whole experience stressful enough.
Every step of the way I have been left feeling full of knowledge and security, as the agent I am dealing with has been very patient explaining everything in an unbiased way towards getting the best for me.
I have usually left matters like this to the man, but as I am now a single female, I felt lost and sometimes slightly dumb in this mind field of property selling.
I feel 100% comfortable in knowing that I have made the right choice in choosing this company, as others have left me feeling they were only in it for the sale and their commission.
I have set a dead line for everything to be completed and feel so assured in their competence. I shall write another review when it is done and dusted.Was this review helpful? Yes

The service I received has been exceptional.
Of the six Agents I approached to sell the property Steve Hatch was the first to reply to me. some not bothering at all!
They have completely reversed my opinion of Estate Agents, not a touch of the slimy, out for themselves attitude here, just efficient, honest, up front service & a lot of hard work selling this property.
In dealing with a long distance sale for elderly & infirm parents I was offered over and above what could have been expected, help and advice, constant, most welcome updates and was treated with such consideration I was deeply touched, and may I say the property for sale was certainly not going to make them rich on the commission received!
Special thanks to Steve Hatch.
Five stars are not enough!

We found the staff of Castles, Turnpike Lane very friendly and helpful. Additonally we found them sensitive to our feelings and needs in the light of this being a probate sale. In the light of the difficult market conditions the sale was relatively quick (although it seemed to drag on at the time) and the price negotiated was probably the best achievable.

The team at Turnpike Lane were extremely helpful and supportive in the sale of our parents family home. The professional valuation by Steve, who spent considerable time with my brothers and me, explaining the strategyand process of the sale, patiently answering our questions and concerns, this on what must have been a very busy Saturday morning for him.
We were kept informed, by Leigh and Panos, of viewings. On securing a purchaser, the checks made on their situation helped to minimise the liklihood of any obstacles to the sale and ensured that all went through smoothly and in the time scale and dates that had been proposed.
The team at Turnpike Lane eased us through what, could have been, a very stressful time and we would thoroughly recommend them.

They have a personal touch that is rare in this day and age. Their honesty, integrity and advice put my mother and us at ease. Their realistic advice regarding price and their hard work and approach resulted in them selling my mother's home within a week of placing it with them! Well done Castles and thank you! They acted quickly in inviting prospective buyers round.

All three staff in the Harringay Castles branch are friendly, cheerful, competent and efficient. Having dealt with several other estate agents and experienced off-hand treatment or bullying and been given incomplete or misleading information, I can safely say that it was a relief and a pleasure to deal with Panos and Leigh. The property I bought through them was in the very good condition that they said it was. It was a good buy and we agreed the price quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend doing business with this agent and branch.

Had a very good experience with this branch. I was looking for somewhere to live but not sure what I wanted. I was taken on a tour of about fifteen properties, and knew I had found the right one immediately I saw it. The tour had been very well planned. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the process. They operate a realistic no-nonsense approach and were helpful in identifying any experts needed, and these were of a good standard. Overall a good experience and I would be happy to recommend them to others. I would use them again. Roger Kemp

Steve and his team in the Haringey branch were extremely professional and efficient. They were very helpful all the time. From my experience with other Estate Agencies, they have also been very trustworthy. I would definitely use them again.

We could not be more pleased with the team at the Harringay branch who helped us to get our house sold. They set a sensible asking price and were brilliant in selling at the asking price!

I think that Panos and the team are fantastic, its a great work ethic that I can only assume that after people buy properties from them they would then later sell through them too. I have just bought a property using the Harringay branch and they helped move things along as much as possible and appeared very balanced in their dealings between myself and the seller rather than just trying to sell the property for commission. Thanks!

As a first time buyer, it was really reassuring to deal with Castles. Panos worked really hard to liaise with everyone in the chain - and my solicitor commented that he was often the person keeping her informed about what was going on. It was great to receive such a personal service and I would whole-heartedly recommend them.

From start to finish - Castles staff were very personable, friendly and professional. Steve valued our property and was the only agent who really took the time to appreciate the work that we'd done. Leigh was very helpful and showed lots of prospective buyers around and was extremely busy with viewings in the first week! The property sold just after a week being on the market and Panos was excellent at handling all the negotiations with our first-time buyer. Panos also helped liaise with the new estate agent we were buying from to try and help speed up the move process. Unfortunately, the move took much longer than expected as the vendor dragged her heels with selling to us but Panos managed to keep very calm and reassure us and our first-time buyer that everything would be fine. Thankfully it was and everyone got moved in the end. I would definitely recommend Castles to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Not your average estate agent. Very caring.

I have dealt with Castles (Haringey) twice now to rent my property and everytime nothing was to much trouble and they had really good vetted tenants within weeks i would not go anywhere else.

I sold my studio flat through Castles and was very happy with the service. They were realistic about the asking price which I appreciated, and as a result the flat was under offer quickly. From that stage onwards Panos kept me totally informed, even when there was no news, which was really reassuring - he kept the process moving as much as possible and spoke to my buyer and both solicitors regularly.
I had the flat on the market a few years before with Keatons - very slick but totally impersonal and at the end of the day they simply failed to get a sale through. You cannot underestimate personal service and local knowledge.

I have used Castles a number of times now. They have always provided me with a very efficient, polite, and helpful service and I fully recommend their services for either buying or selling property.
