"The fact that a house buying deal for properties costing £900k can be cancelled just like that, with no mediation or advice given to the potential buyer from purplebricks is absolutely shocking and deeply unprofessional . I am currently experiencing the same problems with Purple bircks and the agent did not disclosing that if you have defered payment you have to use their Solicitors who charge a ridiculously higher fee which purple bricks takes either a commission or fee from. They despite several calls have not got back to me and we are currently in a limbo situation as all the documentation sent by their appointed overcharing solicitors was incorrect. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
