Went for a viewing for the flat in St. Georges close, Horley with my wife. We did like that flat and wanted to go through with this. They asked me to put an offer but I said I am happy to pay the amount per month as advertised. I was been told that they will contact with me. But they did not contact with me so I made a phone call and wanted to know the further procedure to go through with that flat. They asked me for how long I want to make the contract. They said it could be for 6 months or 12...

Paul was the agent I met first and he really listened to the vision I had for my desired property. After a few viewings that weren't quite right he presented an opportunity to see a property that was not being marketed however selectively viewed and I fell in love with it. The agent is easy to contact and providing immediate action whenever some problem arises in the flat. She is always providing an option or early solution for the problems for emergency solution. I have rented through White and Sons over the past 2 years and I would be more than happy to do so again. June did more than 'go the final mile' to help me. She showed a highly professional and personalised approach. My first rental was extremely daunting having both recently separated yet at the same time trying to keep life 'normal and stable' for my 3 very young children but June never faltered in being helpful and supportive. We've been looking for a property to rent for over a month now and have seen in excess of 6 properties (several of which we've put offers on) with White and Sons however I'm beginning to wish we hadn't bothered. Communication has been lack lustre, we've had to constantly chase to find out any update in regards to what's happening. If you are considering entering into a rental contract with White and Sons in Dorking please think twice. Over the past 12 months we have been treated appallingly by this estate agent, which has caused a great deal of stress to my family. Unfortunately the house we moved into had many major maintenance problems. White and sons exhibited a lack of urgency in emergency situations, poor communicate and a complete disregard for the welfare of tenants....

From the start white and sons very very unprofessional and unorganised. None of them seem to know what they were doing. Their property management is awful. They are totally incapable of arranging the most basic repairs to the extent of a property becoming dangerous and a visit from environmental health. Landlords beware and tenants stay away....

Tried to buy a property through them, and the agent started a nasty bidding war and kept coming back very excitedly asking for more money. I thought his attitude was extreme and unethical and walked away. I wrote a letter to the management complaining of his practices and got answered that they stood behind their man....

used Whites to let our rental property they did nothing over an initial three week period inlcluding not putting a to let sign up, advertising pr promoting the property. When they did have a propspective tenant the person showig them around did not know the property details so missed telling them about things like the garage. I was very pleased with the way White & Sons handled the sale of my house. I spoke with most of the staff in the sales department and all of them were pleasant, patient and handled all my queries very speedily with the right results! The sale of my house went through very smoothly without any hiccups. I would not hesitate in highly recommending them to prospective vendors....

Having been a satisfied client/landlord for 4 years, I appreciate their excellent professional manner and commitment. They have always let my flat promptly, usually before the current tenant has vacated. They rigirously reference all tenants and I have always had payments on time and never had to deduct from a deposit as they found good quality tenants. Can not fault them....

Absolutley terrible experience with White and Sons of Dorking! I was a previous tennant and have been messed around like you wouldn\'t beleive! 1.We have now moved out of the property in question just over a month and a half ago and we STILL have not received our deposit back despite a written confirmation that it was going to be released three weeks ago! Nobody gets beck to you. I\'m sure my deposit money is earning them a nice bit of interest whilst being held in their bank account! 2....

Whilst the staff are very friendly, they don\'t do a lot. Having lived in a managed property for 20 months issues did arise., as you might expect. We have been more than reasonable throughout our tenancy. Now leaving the property they make verbal agreements on the deposit to be returned only go back on it and despite being reasonable with them are constantly being messed around. They will also give you no time to respond if they decide to show someone around the property. If they make ...
