!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Myself and five other housemates spent little over 6 months in our property and dealing with Westwick was enough to make it feel like a lifetime.
They are quick to take your money on the first instance, but we are still to receive our deposit (which had no discrepancies) for nearly two months. THE WORST LETTING AGENCY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Our house was burgled and it took them 6 months to replace our back door.
Mould everywhere was ignored despite regular phone calls.
they upped the rent half way through our contract.
Our fridge and oven broke, it took three months for either to be replaced.
They still haven't given us our security deposit back after four months and have moved and changed their telephone number without informing us.... read full review
It's the time of year when students will be looking at available properties for their next academic year and to any student thinking of renting a property through Westwick Properties I would simply advise them to think very carefully before doing so.

OK, so I'm a landlord (of just one property - effectively my pension and where I used to live) not a tenant; and feel shocked by the reviews I've read so far. Can I restore some balance? They've been our managing agent for nine years. We went to them on recommendation from another houseowner. In that time they've changed the trading name ONCE.

I have recently left a property managed by Westwick Properties/Rents Direct. While living in the property the only problems we had were similar to what other people have said, not answering our calls, saying they'd call back and then never doing so, saying something was going to be fixed but then never sending any one over. This company should be lucky to have the lowest rating as 1 star as I would rate them a 0! They are hands down, the worst company I have ever dealt with. They ignore e-mails, lie, send random people to the property unnannounced, let themselves in!

Appalling standard of 'professional' service. I use the term 'professional' loosely. Where to begin? Credit checks not performed properly, meter readings not given to utility companies, the world and his wife being given keys to your property without your knowledge or consent. Friends and relatives of said company who let themselves in! They charged us £2400 damage deposit and 7 weeks after moving out still waiting to get it back.
When we call they tell us things like: "We're waiting for the invoices to comeback to us" "the checks have been sent already" "You didn't pay the rent for three months so we've taken the money from the deposit" They said that this morning when they said two days ago the checks had already been sent..... We are having a disatrous time with them, and have been TRYING to get answers out of numourous problems since January 4th and still have not responded! They ignore e-mails and only tell you information in verbal, which is 99.9% lies and then are trying to claw at our damage deposits at the last minute! We are in dispute with them and they ignore everything we e-mail them.

Absolutely awful service, I am a student who let a house from them. Over the course of the year mould began to build up in one of the bedrooms upon previous mould that hadn't been sorted. Phoned up countless times (around 5 or 6) each time I was told someone would ring me back, never heard from them again, when I eventually got a maintenance guy round he said the whole room had to be redecorated. Rents Direct/Westwick Property lettings are consistently unprofessional, rude and incompetent in almost every aspect of letting houses between a private landlord and a tenant. I am a 21 year old female proffessional looking for a flat to rent in the Bedminster area. I currently reside in Brentry, Bristol and wish to move closer to my workplace in Cabot Circus. I am leaving my tenancy in 19 days.
At midday Tuesday, I contacted Westwick Properties as I saw a desirable property on rightmove.com and wished to know a little more info on it and to arrange a viewing around my full time job. I was asked for my name and number and someone would get back to me. No one did.
