I applied for a property in Chopwell Gardens. They simply told us that you do not meet the eligibility criteria. I called them because I believe my wife and I certainly meet the requirements. They said, ''On this particular home, the landlord has an insurance policy that requires all tenants to be working and on permanent contracts!
This is not true. There was absolutely nothing mentioned about this in the property description or anywhere else on the Rightmove page, while they had simply mentioned ''NO PETS'' and ''NO SMOKER''. I have proof for this.
This is clear discrimination, and they want to cherry-pick among applicants and pick those who earn more! Shame!
Stop this subtle discrimination and respect people's dignity!
