I have this week let a property within 10 days of advertising it and special thanks goes to Ella Marriner who provided me with a very professional honest service which l very much appreciated. I have used Your Move for many years and have always been provided an excellent helpful service from both the Letting division and the Sales division at the Dartford Branch. Both managers Kyle and Steve have always been very polite and helpful as the rest of the team have.

If it were possible to give a 0 star, I would. Dealt with a lady from this company misrepresented everything to me I was told that the landlord fully manages the property, that the house will be deep cleaned and he would have a copy of the inventory in hand and go through the repairs needed... If it were possible to give a 0 star, I would.
Dealt with a lady from this company misrepresented everything to me
I was told that the landlord fully manages the property, that the house will be deep cleaned and he would have a copy of the inventory in hand and go through the repairs needed for us. I was told that this was a Zero Deposit scheme. I assumed this was true because of the state the house was in.
On the day to sign the tenancy agreement, I was informed that I needed to pay a company called Zero deposit to pay the a week rent to cover damages of the properties (Mind you, this does not mean they will take care of the bills in case the property gets damaged)
On the same day, we were told that as the property is managed by the landlord, we needed to see him and say to him things that needed to be done in the hous the next day. Next day came in and I had not heard from them so I called their office in Dartford only to be told that we had signed to them not carrying out any management on the house or even deep cleaning.
I have now asked for a notice to be shoot up. I am currently pregnant and this is terrible. AVOID

Have been looking for a place to move for a few weeks now. Out of 10+ Agencies I have dealt with this has been by far the worst. Arranged a viewing with the office for an apartment. Have been looking for a place to move for a few weeks now. Out of 10+ Agencies I have dealt with this has been by far the worst.
Arranged a viewing with the office for an apartment. On the day of the viewing we got there 15 minutes early as to not keep anyone waiting. 10 minutes after the viewing should have started and no one calling me I decided to call the office. They apologized to me and told me their colleague got caught up in a previous viewing and will be there shortly.
In the end we waited almost 35 minutes for the agent to arrive. In the meantime someone else had showed up, probably for the time slot after us. When the agent arrived she completely ignored me at first and greeted the other person first. After going up to her and introducing myself, saying I had the viewing 30 minutes ago. She looked at me for a second and then turned around and started speaking with the other person and continued to do so throughout the whole viewing, she never thought to at least apologize to us.
After that I had to share the viewing with someone else while the agent completely ignored me and only engaged with the other person.
It was all highly unprofessional and we left the viewing feeling like we just wasted time and money to get to the apartment.
Their office has been helpful but the viewing was horrifyingly bad.

Too long a list to include in this review.
Positive points are;
Collecting payments from me they never miss and I have had no problems with tenant payments.
Great location in central Dartford so I have never had an empty month.
Negative points;
Any contact with the agency requires non-stop chasing. Endless excuses, nothing is ever the fault of YM, tenancy renewals not actioned, excuses made I lost £600 due to rent reviews not being added (billed for renewal though). Following renewal the same and it has been 2 weeks since my inquiry as to why, still chasing a response. I have had poorly checked out tenants who left damages which were 90% avoided by YM. The list could go on for pages. Poor service, even the YM ombudsmen service directs you back to branch. I have moved abroad so changing agents is a concern but I think inevitable or maybe sell my property but certainly not through YM!

We used your move as the previous letting agent TG Baynes joined with Your Move mid tenancy . Whether TG Baynes or Your Move we had nothing but problem after problem . We used your move as the previous letting agent TG Baynes joined with Your Move mid tenancy . Whether TG Baynes or Your Move we had nothing but problem after problem .
Pretty much from moving in we had faults in the property . Even though it was a new build it had been obviously built by cowboys and even after being in 3 years things were still outstanding. They only finally fixed them once we were moving Out to ensure a new tenant would move in . As previous reviewers on here have said we too got monthly letters from the accounts dept saying our rent was overdue even though we had asked to change the DD mandate date 2 years previously so each month we would receive a letter asking for late payment and every month for 2 years they said they would change and never did . The owner of the property was just as useless as the agents and neither of the 2 could organise the proverbial in a brewery . On writing this review we moved out 101 days ago and we still have not received our deposit back !!!! On leaving the property we were told we MUST have the carpets professionally cleaned which we did at a cost of £60 . A receipt was to be handed in proving the clean . Not once has this been asked for . The landlord is “ keeping “ £746 of the deposit ( £1246 full amount ) due to painting of 2 doors that they say are discoloured . Even though after each 6 month check was not mentioned and surely this is natural wear and tear . They wanted to keep the full amount as we apparently owe them £500 for a water bill that wasn't paid !! Even though this was due to a leak in the property which they have had repaired . I must also say that you have your deposit protected by a third party to ensure the landlords can not basically steal your money but they are just as crooked as the landlords . This office is an absolute shambles . The women who work here Karen and Terri who both transferred from the previous TG Baynes to Your Move are hopeless . Don't expect help , replies to emails or phone calls returned as this just wont happen . They should be called We won't move not your move as they do jack to earn the salaries they do do not deserve . As letting agents they are abysmal . Save your money and deposit and go somewhere else . Sadly from experience all agents and landlords are legitimate theives they just don't walk around with a swag bag over their shoulder .
