Mina managed our property whilst we were overseas. She was efficient and responsible at resolving issues when they occurred. I rented through Winkworth from Nov 18 - Nov 19. Not the easiest with multiple issues with the flat I was renting and ongoing issues with council rubbish collection and roadworks. The one thing that made my tenancy manageable was the work of Mina Olise - the agent responsible for managing the building. She made sure the landlord conducted the repairs required for me, as well as chasing the council on the external issues! Thanks Mina!

I lived in a flat in South Ealing for 7 years which was managed by Winkworth (as my landlords lived abroad). The initial letting process & subsequent contract renewals always went smoothly (with no fees incurred by me for the renewals). I liked that they used an independent company for the check-in/inventory & check-out - it made it feel fair & transparent. Mina Olise, in particular, is a fantastic managing agent - she responds quickly & will always go over & above to resolve any issues. There was a time during my tenancy when Mina left Winkworth for a brief period & the service suffered as a result - so she is a great asset to the business! Also, both Julia Rutkowska & Fiona Lee were very professional & respectful when it came time to do viewings while I was still living in the property - giving me plenty of notice & staying in touch throughout the process. I would not hesitate to use Winkworth again & would definitely recommend them to others.

Although our flat was a 'managed property' we ended up having to deal with resolving all the issues ourselves; from when our garden fence fell down within a month of moving in and our neighbour informed us they had no response to their emails to Winkworth. To finally our toilet broke and Winkworth did nothing to resolve the situation; to the point that I ended up going to Hospital, being put on strong painkillers and my partner having to unblock the toilet by hand for a number of days.

I have been renting for over 4 years and I have to say Winkworth are by far the worst estate agents I have dealt with. Although our flat was a 'managed property' we ended up having to deal with resolving all the issues ourselves; from when our garden fence fell down within a month of moving in and our neighbour informed us they had no response to their emails to Winkworth. To finally our toilet broke and Winkworth did nothing to resolve the situation; to the point that I ended up going to Hospital, being put on strong painkillers and my partner having to unblock the toilet by hand for a number of days.
When we came to move out, they managed to make their service even worse by not responding to our emails about our deposit and potential deductions until after the agreed deadlines in our tenancy agreement. At which point we were informed that 'legally' they had a longer timeframes so the tenancy became pointless (apart from to protect the interests of the Landlord).
I would advise anyone to strongly think first before taking on a Winkworth managed property.

After happily moving into one of Winkworth's 'managed properties' we noticed numerous faults. These ranged from broken showers, broken radiators, painting, holes in the wall, damp problems and much more. After consistently reporting these faults to winkworth, bits and bobs started getting repaired. However, the shower is still completely dysfunctional and has been for over a week now. The landlord is slow at responding to emails and has also made us wait a further 4 days without a shower as he found the repair for £50 less from somewhere else. We're really not impressed with their management skills and after complaining, they told us that if we're not enjoying living here then we should hand in our notice. Good estate agent, terrible property management.
