We were thinking of putting our house up for sale nearly a year ago, we wanted to take our time as we have a disabled son, so we were very particular about where and what we bought. William h brown played the sales tactics from the start and started constantly calling me every day even though i told them we wanted to take our time, these calls went on for 3 months. We decided to not to go through with selling our house in the end because it became very stressful and we felt extremely harrassed, ...

Poor service from start to pulling out in 14 day cooling off period. Avoid unless you want to chase them constantly to get your house sold and be fobed off with lie after lie. After a wk n 3 days still no for sale sign up, no feed back on how open house went. Absolutely discuss with there service and how they deal with things. Day 4 ask to go retake a pic to be told Adam is on holiday and no other agent can do it... Hmmmmm poor show that he's the only one who can use a camera in the office. More...

They are cheaper than most out there however you get what you pay for. In my opinion you get absolutely nothing and don't know how they have the cheek to charge at all with such poor service.

The fee is high and plus many other fees. I don't mind if they deliver the result. Unfortunately they don't.

Rhiannon has only been our property co-ordinator for a short time but in that time she has proved herself to be honest, reliable and also very responsible. This is something that we havent experienced with other co-ordinators. Dealing with multiple customers all with different requirements and exectations is not an easy job and Rhiannon handles everything great. (this is an area of work I work in so I know how demanding it is to remain customer focused for each individual) I would certainly ma...

Abi, who works in property management, has been a great help at sorting all repairs and problems promptly and professionally. At all stages she has kept in contact, updating me, leasing with my landlord and arranging repairs or in the case of my washing machine, arranging a new one to be delivered. This was my first time dealing with this agency and so far I have nothing but good things to report!...

Shocking estate agents!!!! Unable to manage a property and complete lack of customer service (on the rental side)!!!! I wouldn't ever use these agents again!! Lacking the ability to organise property management and they have the attitude of 'you need us more than we need you'. Any mistakes they make will only be rectified at your inconvenience and expense!!!! You would have more success in self managing!!! Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!!!...

The experience with William H Brown was one of the most frustrating and distressing times of my life,...and I am 60 years old. A five month torture attempting to sell my half shared ownership/housing association two bed house and buy outright a one bed flat (no chain). A shambolic game of estate agents blaming solicitors (recommended by by William H Brown) resulting in a feeling of complete loss of control and trust in both parties. Never again. Shame on you all....

I am very happy with the service I received. We have had a terrible experience of W H Brown, where there is no consistency with staff, who are completely unprofessional, incompetent and argumentative. They started by getting our advert wrong, with pictures that we did not approve, but they still went ahead and listed us. Almost 3 months later they still do not have the advert or pictures correct. They are argumentative with us "the customer" and made to feel we are being unreasonable. But we are the customer who just wishes t...

Avoid at all costs!! Working shifts I was unable to meet potential buyers so William h brown agreed to do the viewings. I had 14 in one week. ( Not including the two that turned up randomly saying they had booked a viewing through WHB on contacting them they had forgot to inform me!) At the end of the week I discovered I was missing jewellery from the bottom of a cupboard I had hidden it! Luckily it wasn\'t worth much but held great sentimental value. The only reason I never went to the police ...

We have had problems with William H Brown from the very start. To begin with, we were told that we would be paying a certain amount for fees in total before moving in and that was the total amount. When we came to pay the fees, we were told we were to pay an inventory fee on top - despite being told previously that we did not have to pay this. Our landlord was equally annoyed and so asked for this to be removed. We had several problems getting hold of anyone in the office prior to move in to ans...

2 words to describe this company: Con Artists. We initially were enticed to put our property for sale from another agency by the charming Jonathan who promised us that he would get the house sold easily for above asking price. however soon after he sent over the contract his web of lies started to fall apart. Conveniently forgetting to mention any of the clauses in the contract such as the buyers incentive scheme etc. Having finally negotiated an acceptable contract the house was on the marke...

In brief; misleading, rude, time wasters who I will never deal with again. I only wish I\'d read these reviews before making contact, how does a company this bad survive? They\'re not good or cheap! In full: I noticed an advert from William H Brown in the local paper looking for a rental property for a proffessional, my property fitted the brief perfectly. I called to ask if their client would like to view the property and they agreed, scheduled an appointment for a member of the lettings tea...

Where to even start. We placed our home on the market with WHB Norwich, we were happy to do viewings at any time, however our one stipulation was that the people who were viewing the house (1900\'s terrace with batroom off bedroom) were aware of the layout. Waste of breath!!!!! Every viewing was surprised there was an upstairs bathroom. People turned up to view the property when we had specifically said we were not free for viewings. Property was also advertised on righmove with wrong pos...

I have nothing positive to say about this company. The whole company stank of sales, from the manager to the Saturday boy. On a number of occasions I arranged to view different properties. With each phone call, and on any occasion I visited their office, I was asked of I had a mortgage arranged. After telling them I had, they repeatedly asked me if I wanted to arrange a mortgage through them. Each time that I turned them down, whether on the phone or in person, it\'s almost as if they were ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Everybody there seemed to be forcing me to take out a mortgage through them, and not one person that I spoke to, took no for an answer. Every single person there continued to try and force this on me, despite me saying repeatedly that I have already arranged a mortgage. It stopped me even looking at houses marketed through the company. Didn\'t even open the houses on right move which were advertised through WHBrown.

First telephone contact made to arrange viewing of property that same afternoon - initial response was that they didn\'t know about the property and it was unlikely they would be the agents. I insisted that it was being advertised by their office at Bank Plain and the telephone number provided was correct - inferred that I was wrong - however the young lad said that he would find out and phone me back straight away - being mindful of a request for that afternoon viewing. Had lunch - waited - nee...
