Avoid at all costs. We proceeded to have an offer accepted on a property following Whitegates South Elsmall own guide valuation. Avoid at all costs. We proceeded to have an offer accepted on a property following Whitegates South Elsmall own guide valuation. When the mortgage company had their own in person valuation done at the property they said it was worth 25k less. Yvonne admitted they are having lots of properties downvalued by actually surveyors but still they refuse to value properties adequately or tell their vendors the correct information.

Avoid at all costs. We proceeded to have an offer accepted on a property following Whitegates South Elsmall own guide valuation. When the mortgage company had their own in person valuation done at the property they said it was worth 25k less. Yvonne admitted they are having lots of properties downvalued by actually surveyors but still they refuse to value properties adequately or tell their vendors the correct information.
We’d also paid for a building survey which highlighted an extra 15k of work required. Still Whitegates have put the property back on the market at the original price of 220k.
Legally they are supposed to tell buyers the truth about defects, building reports, previous offers that have fallen through and they are clearly not doing so

We were highly impressed with the letting agents while we were going through the initial signing of tenancy etc, but felt as soon as we had signed the contract they weren't very interested. We were highly impressed with the letting agents while we were going through the initial signing of tenancy etc, but felt as soon as we had signed the contract they weren't very interested. The landlord was actually exemplary and we were very pleased with him. On the contrary throughout the 36 months we were tenants we found emails went unreplied and issues unresolved. On our moving out we were very disappointed at the extortionate charges taken from our deposit. I wouldn't use this letting agent again. Adele was extremely helpful and friendly through all our tenancy and she along with the landlord/property were the saving graces of the agency.
