I think Wards play unfair tactics to obtain the highest price for their vendors - they are not upfront about anything. They ask for best and final offers, but then leave the property up for longer waiting for better offers to come along. I wonder how many early offers actually make it to the vendor ... I think Wards play unfair tactics to obtain the highest price for their vendors - they are not upfront about anything. They ask for best and final offers, but then leave the property up for longer waiting for better offers to come along. I wonder how many early offers actually make it to the vendor too. It shouldn't take 2 weeks and lots of chasing to get an answer, but I suspect it's because Wards are playing games and trying to drum up the highest bid. This happened to me and also to a colleague of mine. They also lie about their preferred buyers scheme by telling buyers that its something you have to pay for via their solicitors. Their website state that it's free. I hate being lied to!!!

I was recommeded Ward and Partners from a friend who rented her flat out through them. She was very pleased with their service and with Matt in general. I have to say i wasnt dissappointed. This was the first time that I had let my property and I was understandably cautious, but Matthew and his lettings team were in constant contact to discuss the type of tenants I would accept and to reassure me of their support. From searching for tenants to them moving in, Matthew in particular was fantastic and was always ready to answer even what seemed to me to be my trivial concerns, dealing with me in a professional yet considerate manner. I couldn't have asked for a better service and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Gill and the team at ward and partners Folkestone branch were incredibly helpful with the sale of our house. We had been up with another agent previously and the service was awful. It was only when we decided on Ward and Partners that we realised we should have chosen them in the first place. They were efficient, helpful, always kept us up to date with feedback from viewings and made it a painless process. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our (leasehold) purchase turned out to be very complex from the legal/contract standpoint (6 months to completion), and Ward's were always highly responsive and effective in terms of communication between us, the vendor and our solicitor - they played a crucial role in our attempts to sort out the mess with the lease.
It is unlikely that our purchase would have been successful without them. I could not recommend them more highly.
