LANDLORDS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- showing excuse for a business. We left our name about 2 dif. properties, had to chase up the staff to get proper and full information. Was told property let agreed and left our number in case anything fell through or changed. Property appeared back on website 3 weeks later and no-one contacted us. Viewed property and called that day to say we would take it. No one got back to us on the Friday. The business shuts at the weekend!!!! Surely on a Sat when people ar...

They\'ve never attended repairs. After I informed them I will be vacating the property in summer, they decided to ask us to move out on 31st March 2014. A property that was unfurnished and no photographic inventory provided, they decided to with-hold £1500 deposit of ours. The typed up inventory came months after we move in and via email. I called citizen advice bureau and an independent inspector was agreed to inspect the property. They refused to give access and told us they spent our de...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Be there for both tenants and landlord. Help the tenants more (when it comes to property maintenance) - they are the middleman between the tenant and landlord but they clearly failed.

I would like to thank Mark Coll who was extremely helpful on the day I was checking out of the flat which I had been renting from the Milngavie branch for the past year and a half. All the staff that I had spoken to during that time of rental were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. I have never had any cause to complain about my experience of renting with them and would definitely use them again....

I wish that I had read the previous reviews before I used the Property Bureau. My experience dittos that of both of the reviews and I am currently in dispute with the Property Bureau over a cleaning bill that they have slapped me with for £150. The rental of my flat was sub standard in terms of cleanliness when I took up the tenancy but I have since learned that the expectancy is that you leave the rental professionally cleaned. This does not appear in any of their terms and conditions....

My own experience of this firm almost mirrors that of \'badlytreatedtenant\' (above). The director responsible for investigating internal complaints refused to acknowledge correspondence from me for six months, then claimed the internal complaints procedure had not been exhausted when the matter was raised with the Property Ombudsman. The staff member from Property Management issued a Notice to Quit using the wrong legislative grounds, leaving me with no apparent recourse through the She...

Agent did not attend to repairs, ignored emails, ignored complaints. Did not allow termination of lease at the end of the contracted date. Flat was very dirty when let out, cleaned to a high standard when leaving. Was left in a better standard than was offered. Had to endure a broken boiler, rusted shut windows, no working fire alarm, broken fridge, ventilation and damp problems. Ignored a written complaint until it was pointed out to them that it was special delivery and their signature could b...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Acknowledged problems, attempted to fix them, left the flat in a reasonable state (it was disgusting) and not expect it to be in a better state when keys handed back (although it was by far). Not be so blatant in cheating the tenant out of the deposit and by sticking to the terms of the lease agreement.
