Horrible estate agent, had nothing but problems with the bourne branch. Very expensive, lots of hidden fees. My new estate agent took £160 referencing fee and that it is!!!!

My experience with Rosedale has become an absolute disaster. Viewed the property on the 12th of August and everything seemed perfect, applied with minimal issues (other than problems that are out of their control) however after this everything started going down hill. Guarantor checks were not completed until 1 week before our move in date, the employment reference email was not sent until the morning prior to the move. Dear 'Ellie'. Your report of delays with referencing is simply not accurate. Upon requesting a guarantor there was a delay with the application details reaching us. Upon receipt, all guarantor references were completed within 2 working days. There were delays with the tenancy being able to commence due to issues with parts arriving for essential repairs by a contractor. We communicated regularly during this time. Week 1 - arranged by email to view a property. On the morning of the viewing they contacted to ask if I was attending. Despite saying yes, no show from agent. Claim on next working Day was I had been emailed with cancel. No evidence, nothing in my junk mail. Do not use this agency. When leaving the property I grafted my "*" off to clean the house. There were no issues when I left, but they charged me half my deposit 300 quid. To send in a cleaner when I left. They wanted the oven to be in a brand new condition which isn't possible on an oven over 3 years old atleast. Due to the fact that we aim to return the full deposit to as many tenants as possible as a result of the processes we take and advice we provide tenants in preparing their properties for hand over, we actually have relatively low numbers of deposit claims. I have been a tenant of Rosedale Letting Specialists for approximately two years and have always found their service to be excellent. Maintenance is responded to quickly, albeit the landlord isn\'t always as responsive as I would like, and they are very friendly. This agent does not do anything to help you when you have a problem. We had a leaking cold water pipe that was over a mains 13 amp plug and of course with the water getting in it kept blowing the main fuses. We were told at first that it was not their problem I should get it fixed. Had another 9 important jobs that needing addressing 4 of which were there health and safety issues, one being a down pipe leaking and my partner slipping over and injuring her back, they never did anything about i...

Do not touch these people with a bargepole. They rarely dealt with any maintenance issues we had, ignored our complaints, were condescending and rude on the phone whenever we rang and then told our landlord we were difficult tenants....
