I think one of the fees was a fee for the sake of it and too high at ‚£300 for what could have been a 6 months rental period, as is the fee to start your next rental period.

When they valued our property I had done some research myself and their valuer suggested a price of ‚£135,000 - ‚£140,000 I thought this was on the low side and we agreed to put the property on for ‚£145,000 and see how this was received. The property sold to the first viewer in approx 5 days We were happy with the fees paid to the agent but their recommended solicitors fees are on the high side which resulted in us using an alternative solicitor for the purchase of our new home.
