We recently sold 2 homes through Putterills , which was a complicated process to manage, Putterills did this very well. Duncan, Neena and Liz tried their best in getting prospective buyers through the door, which created 2 sales. Similarly, they worked really hard to find the right home ...

We have never sold a property before so wasn't sure what fees to expect, but assume they are about the same as everyone else.

As a tenant, Putterills charged me £420 for credit/referencing checks, of which £150 went to credit/referencing checking my partner, who was not in the contract, but was only a 'permitted occupier'. Why would you credit check someone who's not going to be responsible for paying ...

Comment on agent fees
Putterills charged me more than I paid for my tenants fees in Marylebone, central London. And they justified charging so much by stating, and I quote, "there's lettings agents around the country charging up to £1000 in fees, so we think we're pretty fair in comparison".
