i feel like the fees could have been lower as many other agencies have lower fees (i shopped around) i went with prospect because of the reputations of the team. The sales team I'm not sure met that expectation (a lot of mistakes and not enough communication), but the assistant manager and the after sales team were excellent.

I feel the fees are high but only in line with the fees of all other agents and their competitors. Therefore it is the industry who should be working to lower fees on the whole. At least the fees with Prospect are straight forward and we received an excellent service for those fees as well.

I did negotiate on the fees to match what other estate agents were offering. They agreed to lower them with a clause of increasing if the property exceeded the asking price, which was a fair offer.

The fees are substantial, but at the end of the day, if you have the agents support throughout, I think they are worth it. On more than one occasion I have paid similar fees with but with little in return.
