After not many viewings for tenants from our previous current agents. We appointed Spencer's who within a couple of days had viewings arranged & attended. Ben & Rash were upfront & explained everything in great detail, as were new to the lettings procedure. They were always willing to answer any questions no matter how silly they were. Also their management & finders costs were reasonable unlike another City agents we consulted who overall wanted 19%. All in all a very good service from a local & friendly agent. Who isn't just in it for a quick buck, but seem to actually care about their clients & their properties. Very unusual with the reputation Estate agents have. Well done Spencer's Forest gate. Keep it up.

I do not think there is justification for referencing fees in general, but I realise that the fee we paid is a standard fee and nothing to do with Spencers.

I was then contacted very promptly by Rashad at the Forest Gate branch to discuss what I wanted. He was very quick in suggesting potential properties and arranged a viewing for us. It was the first property we viewed and was a great fit so we decided to go ahead an put in a rental offer. Rashad took our verbal offer as confirmation and did not allow continuing bidding on the property. In an extremely competitive market I found this to be excellent customer service. He was very communicative and flexible throughout the process of referencing etc. I was very comfortable approaching him with questions.
We were extremely lucky to find a property that suited us so quickly and this is certainly down to the considered service we received. We had also contacted several other agents when we began looking and comparatively they were all extremely poor.
I would recommend Spencers to anyone looking to rent or buy a property.

Ben did our sign up for the property and was very happy to help us. He was also very friendly and informative and answered any follow up calls we had promptly. He was patient with us when we were a bit late with some paperwork. He went out of his way in order to give us a lift on one visit to the branch and when their was a mix up with the keys on the day we moved in both him and rashad went out of their way to accommodate our needs which was very appreciated and their helpfulness made the day a little less stressful. Both were very professional.
I would recommend the company.

He was very professional,unlike the other estate agents, he valued the flat as how much it's worth not over prizing it.
The flat was sold within 4weeks which i made me pleased. My only disappointment which wasn't his fault though,was how long it took for us to exchange.
Because it's a leasehold and an ex council property,it took longer than expected which resulted me paying 2 more months extra mortgage.

I would absolutely recommend using Ben, Rashad and the team at Spencers' Forest Gate branch. They were outstanding in helping me and my Wife with our first purchase and were always available to help talk us through a process we had no previous experience with. From agreeing the property price to organising specific checks on the property, Ben and Rashad couldn't be any more helpful and I would use them again without hesitation. Previous to approaching Spencers, we were treated appallingly and with contempt by other agencies in what we do understand is a very competitive market. However, now having made the perfect purchase for us, we are so delighted we found Spencers, especially Ben and Rashad, with who we found incredibly trustworthy and extremely professional. Thank you!
