Awful estate agents. Made many false accusations. Had monthly inspections but they still would come randomly without any warning as they had mixed up dates from their end. Terrible organisation, constantly having to repeat ourselves in emails. Good luck getting your deposit back. Avoid these ...

Am sorry you had the problems at this property "Guest 25" however I would like to make the following points. Your property is owned by Crystalight Ltd and they were the landlord on your tenancy agreement. While Platinum Property Agents were initially managing agents your landlord is a large property owner and developer and the maintenance issues were referred to their own contractors. The shop below is let by Crystalight not Platinum Property Agents. Platinum was unaware of the dispute over the ...

Please heed what this and all the other reviewers are saying. These are Cowboys and nasty ones at that. As tenants we were given 2 addenda to the Tenancy Agreement by this company which they claimed to be legally binding and had to be signed by ...

Never ever choose Platinum. They take weeks to sort out any maintenance issues, to answer emails, the phone, to call you back. They don't do their paperwork properly which leaves the opportunity for them to screw you over with your deposit. If you do get ...

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Contrary to your comments Platinum aim to respond to maintenance issues promptly and therefore I would be interested to investigate the specific issues you are referring to. Generally the deposit process is straight forward and a comparison of the condition of the property at the start of a tenancy with the condition of the property at the end. I am happy to review the charges requested on behalf of our landlord and see whether they we ...

Avoid these jokers like the plague. They will try and screw every penny that they can out of you. Their house inspections are a farce, they make claims and provide no evidence. I went to the DPS and Arbitration to challenge them and they made ...

No business wants complaints and we are sorry we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Your comments are interesting in that they highlight common misconceptions about the agents role and the process. - All deposits have to be protected by landlord or agent and have a prescribed dispute procedure. - Platinum uses the DPS custodial service which means the money is held by the DPS directly and can only be released when both sides agree. This is the most secure method for the tenant a ...

Always disappointing to receive complaints and more so when this is so far from the truth. Often part of the agents role is to advise landlords of their legal responsibilities and to accept the terms of the agreement they have entered into with their tenant. We act for the landlord and sometimes that means stopping the landlord from breaching their obligations and making unreasonable claims. Landlords need to be aware that they are not permitted to visit and enter the house without permission ...

Not impressed. Don't expect them to call you back when they say they will. Expect them to tell excuses about why there are delays with your purchase. Expect the sellers to still be in the property after completion. Not impressed. The office looks cowboyish, it ...

Sorry that we did not meet your expectations. As agents we act as intermediaries and actually have very little influence over the post offer sales process. This is controlled by the slowest solicitor and the most awkward buyer in the chain. The rest of us are essentially passengers or victims. That said an agent can and should keep everybody informed of progress and manage those expectations. The advantage of a traditional agent over some on-line agents is the personal service that provides ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
