Possibly, in my opinion, the worst service I've ever received as a Tenant by this Property Management team. Only reason we stayed with them was due to Val who has now left. Had no heating for over 3 weeks due to her incompetence dealing with the insurance on behalf of the landlord and ended up with carbon monoxide in my blood stream. What agent could do to change your mind?
Fees are extortionate for the service provided. The landlords pay a fee so the property is managed. I question fees on both sides.

I'm sorry to hear that this previous disgruntled tenant felt she was treated unfairly by Pettyson. As I'm relatively new to the company I can only comment on this with the detailed information we hold on file regarding this tenancy: Pettyson dealt with the tenants complaints of damp which were proven to be condensation (as per Essex Damp Specialists report) due to the neglect of the tenant to air the property correctly. Our Maintenance Department promptly dealt with every complaint the tenan....

It's obvious they only care about landlords. Have luckily only had to have a handful of interactions with them, but each of them has been terrible. Penny pinching us and always erring on the side of the landlord when things go wrong in the property. Emails have legal disclaimers all over them, obviously to keep themselves out of trouble should it ever come to it. The service was friendly when we were looking initially, but ever since then we've been treated like dodgy tenants despite always payi...

What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have interacted with my husband and I like human beings instead of like lawyers. They could have acknowledged that the price increase on the property that the landlord originally asked for was unnecessarily high, instead of telling us that it a ‚£50pm increase in the first year and ‚£100pm increase in the second year was \'minimal\'. They should treat their tenants as valued customers, not like scum who can easily be replaced.

Where do I start? I have had nothing but bad experiences with Jon and his staff from selling my property to buying a property. First when selling they did not put all offers forward, we were later told by someone that if you tip (in other words bribe) they will make sure that an other attractive offers would not make it to the vendor. Rude, unpleasant and confrontational from the very start to the very end of the transaction. Petty son are truly outstanding in terms of their lack of customer service, general politeness and anything remotely resembling a decent way of operating. Constant threats the vendor would pull out, and jibes around how Things were not progressing due to my fault and to top it off the most sour faces when I picked up the keys - no thank you no congratulations and not even a cordial hello when I walked ...
