Quite disappointing trying to arrange a viewing .. kept calling, kept waiting more than 5 days to simply say, the property is not available.. of course not... But why then kept stating that it was? Just passing my details in every phone discussion, with the back call never happening.. quite upsetting, specially when you have to travel in the area to make the viewings, and just left hanging.. money and time wasted..

Having sold many property's in the past with other agents I have to say Chris Smith at Open House is by far the best agent we have used he is very polite and couldn't do more to help. We had a few issues that arose with the queries to sell our house and Chris went above and beyond to help out as much as he could. I would definitely recommend Open House for a stress free agent who is extremely helpful as I wouldn't use any one else now. Thank you very much.

My experience was completely positive. Friendly, efficient, professional, and honest, with none of the 'saleman's patter' you still get with some other agents... Our sale went smoothly and despite the competitive fee, we still got the the entire service that other agents charge a lot more for. Very good at keeping in touch and I was able to get quick replies to my emails, which was important to me and my preferred method of contact. Would definitely recommend!

What agent could do to change your mind?
Be polite and ensure you have an idea of vendors expectations so you can offer some level of guidance to the purchasing party. Being rude and difficult to deal with helps no one.

Because of his terrible attitude, I did not want to deal with him, regardless of the house. Buying a property is never easy, but having an uphill battle to get any information proved too much for us, as no one needs to suffer unnecessarily rude communications.
It is very apparent that they hold little experience in the Estate Agency field.
Having encountered a number of agents in our house search, they have been by far the worst, everyone else has been courteous, friendly and helpful. I would not recommend them, nor ever want to have to use them in the future.

Chris and Luke were great. Both were easily contactable if I had any queries and went out of their way to show me properties outside of the usual working hours you would expect for an estate agent. We couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Chris and his team.
From the off, they had a hands on approach which included answering any queries we had, irrelavent of importance or time of day. They were very approachable, having a down to earth attitude, which made you feel completely relaxed in their presence.
We sold our property for the full asking price (which was £15,000 more than any other estate agent said we would get for it). Viewings were always well organised, and the after sale service was second to none. They got involved with any queries with the solicitors, so that things were sorted out quickly as possible, with as little fuss as possible. As everyone knows, solicitors jargon can be quite intimidating, and their involvement with this made things alot easier for us through the process.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and in the future we will always use them for any sales or purchases we make.

Selecting from such a wide range of estate agents in our area is not an easy feat and you never know what to expect with an estate agent that is relatively new to the area. However, I knew of the guys at Open House and invited them to value our property. Although we met with other estate agents, these guys seemed the most genuine and honest. Also, they backed up their valuation with more than just a couple of examples of what had sold nearby for what price. They had obviously done a lot of homework and had confidence in their suggested market price. Although their valuation was the highest out of other comparisons, it wasn't a million miles away and was not the only reason I chose them. In under 24 hours, they had 3 viewings lined up. By the following morning, we had an offer. Chris negotiated well and before we new it, we had full asking price from a strong buyer. All went through without a hitch. The team at Open House were always contactable (sometimes away from normal office hours) and not once did I have to chase anything, unlike my experience dealing with other estate agents in the past. The whole process was the smoothest I've experienced with selling a property and I highly recommend Open House Worthing.

We bought our home from a couple using Open House as their agents. While the move was not stress-free (what move ever is), we can happily say that Open House is probably the best agent we've had dealings with.
They were very easy to get hold of, even at hours/days when you might not think they'd be available, and they were good about keeping us informed of goings on, even if it was just to say that there was no further news.
On top of that they even helped us arrange to buy the couple's oven as a private purchase outside of the contract, and dealt with the money and receipts for that, which was very nice of them and not something I expected.
I would be confident to use them again if the need ever arose, although fingers crossed that won't be for some time!
