Excellent and professional service. They property managed the place we call home, and I can honestly not see any faults, their fees are reasonable unlike many of their competitors, and any issue is promptly resolved. I have found them trustworthy, efficient and fair though-ut my tenancy and would never hestitate to recommend them to a friend....

Current and prospective Landlords be warned. Here's a cautionary tale. When going overseas recently, I employed Martin & Co Reading Caversham as my Letting Agent. I returned 4 months after my tenant left the premises to find bills from my Energy Supplier for GBP 224.47 and from Thames Water for GBP 556.81 - both accrued while my property was vacant! After the departure of my tenants, the main heater was left on and there was a continuous flow of water in the toilet. Neither was notice...

They average three days to even acknowledge that a fault has been raised, let alone actually doing anything about them. I currently cannot have a shower or bath as the hot tap has stopped working. No response. My smoke alarm was faulty, going off at random times of the day and night. I was told it was the battery, despite it continuing to sound when I was holding the battery in question in my hand. The place is full of damp. Incredibly poor and unprofessional. After acknowledging that there was a problem with our boiler, they arranged a plumber to come and fix it. However, they said that they were unable to meet the plumber without me incurring a call-out charge. Having had to take a day off work to meet the plumber, it emerges that they hadn't booked him at all and there was a 'miscommunication'. One week without hot water and paying £550pm - unacceptable and totally unprofessional!....
