GREAT. i have recently moved with Martin and co. i had a few issues regarding my move-in process which the staff at martin and co helped with all the way and they were very accommodating. some agents can be rather pushy and not really help you find what your looking for but martin and co were very patient with me. My partner and I have been tenants in a flat managed by Martin & Co for the past year and overall have been very unimpressed. We signed for the flat on the condition that the bathroom was repainted, they said this was fine and I arranged a date a few weeks ahead to get the keys. Awful company, wouldn't advise any students to use them. Didn't tell us the correct information when viewing the house and due to this we no longer have anywhere to live for September. When showing people around the house they should tell you everything you need to pay etc not expecting that we should already know and then when you call the office the advisor we spoke to (the same person who showed us the house) acted like we should have already knew when she clearly didn't tell us. once again w...

Terrible customer service from the word go. From having to chase up the terms of contract from day one (we should've known from that point the service was going to be abysmal) to month three of still having a broken bed, broken dining chairs and a sink/bath that does not drain. We were left with a £100 fine as Martin and Co did not provide us with a parking permit - we are still to be reimbursed. I felt i had to write a review regarding the professionalism of this branch of Martin & Co, We had put the management of our apartment in the hands of Martin & Co back in February 2014 we have had to chase all but 2 rent payments, they never call you back, if you do get hold of them they say it will be in your account in a couple of days i am getting constantly frustrated...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Absolute joke when trying to discuss an inexplicable charge on my deposit. Rang up 5 days in a row and the \'person who deals with deposits\' was always either out of office or on the other line. It was a simple task of looking up what they have charged me for and the dispute can be resolved. Shocking customer service and organisations skills!!! Think twice before going with these.......

Totally incompetent and the worst customer service I've ever encountered! I'm not normally the sort of person who feels the need to write reviews of company's I've had experiences with but I'm afraid on this occasion I'd feel guilty not letting prospective tenants / landlords know what they could be getting into if they started dealing with Martin and Co. I was going to rent 54 anchor point in Sheffield.... It took them over a week and a half to even send me the application forms after paying a rip off £175.00. Unbelievably it took them another week (while chasing) to send the completed application forms to homelet (referencing agents) Over a month later, ( I said I needed this quick and with constant chasing - dread to think how long if not) I return from my holiday, all the while chasing them up!!
