Very true . Even I am having the same issue . There is no hot water facility apart from shower (over a month now) as due to short circuit in house for which they have not even provided the electrician and I got my mine who charged me £90 for 10 minutes . I have not received money yet from Lenwell which they said they will pay me back. That's sad and no signs of professionalism. ...

They will lie to you about the property that you are looking to rent e.g. that they will clean the property if it needs it, remove previous tenant's property, council tax bands. They will provide you with out of date inventories for the property. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
They just need t have an ethical code of standards that they can follow. They tend to give themselves awards and display them on their websites/ email signatures but you can never actually find these awarding organisations. Lenwell give themselves their awards. All of their staff are trained to maximize profit without any ethical guidelines, essentially like chuggers or cold callers.

do what I pay them for and what I want them to do so my house does not get repossed they know all the circumstances of why he goes missing so should be more understanding and I should not have to pay a solicitor wgen money is tighter than ever to get this done as my name is on there details and also onthe mortgage

You are not the only one with problems! We have the same issues I sent a email to them (and have proof) of a leak back in january 2010 and still nothing has been done! I had holes in my bathroom since being 28 weeks pregnant with my son and it was fixed when he was 7 months old! Balcony leaks downstairs and men have yet to come and fix everything that was back in March 2010 and still nothing and after all this and over £100 spent on phone calls to them and the building owners they still claim ...
