I was lied to about maintenance charges due to be taken out on the property that I would be liable for in possible excess of £10,000....this added to the fact that I knew I would have to shell out for the lease extension.....the estate agents constantly \'sweetened me up\' with emotional stories about the vendor\'s situation and side-stepped the question regarding the section 20 order in one of their own words \'they wanted their commission for Christmas\'.....when I sensibly pulled a halt...
