The main supermarket is Waitrose, and additionally there are a wide variety of shops including: delicatessens, charity shops, butchers, clothes shops, three pubs (The Moon, The Anchor Inn and The White Horse Inn), coffee shops, hardware stores, estate agencies, four banks, a variety of restaurants, a museum and a Post Office. The nearest large town is Worthing, approximately 10 mi (16 km) to the south, followed by Horsham, approximately 13 mi (21 km) to the north. Mainline train services can be picked up from Pulborough or Amberley. Trains to London take an hour and a quarter and terminate at Victoria. Trains to Gatwick Airport take around 25 minutes.

We used King & Chasemore to sell our home in Spierbridge Road, Storrington. We were extremely happy as our property was sold for the full asking price very quickly. We were particularly happy with Branch Manager * and Senior Negotiator**. We also used their mortgage consultant *** who was brilliant and put our minds as ease. Nothing was too much for King & Chasemore we really felt Bruno went the extra mile and visited us in person in to keep us updated and informed all the way through to...

Used the agents whilst selling my fathers flat who as ill at the time of it going on the market - they were very helpful and kept a key to show buyers around - when my father passed away they made the selling process easier for me by only email contact for a time and helping me through what I needed to do. The only issue I had was with using the Solicitors they suggested, this was a bit of a nightmare with rude clerks -however every time I rang Bruno or his team they soon got on and dealt with ...

My experience of King & Chasemore was a very positive one. In particular I found Rebecca Harrison informative, personable, proactive and enthusiastic. She took the trouble to understand our property requirements and hand-selected suitable properties for us to view. She kept us in touch when new properties were were coming on to the market and was always flexible with viewing times, especially outside of normal business hours. Above all I found that the personal touch I received was very welc...

I was incredibly impressed with the way Bruno and his team handled the purchase of our new home. All staff members at the Storrington branch had excellent knowledge of the local area and were always available to discuss any issues/questions we had. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them and would certainly use them in the future....

We were very impressed with Rebecca, Bruno and Marla, they are all friendly and proffessional and a credit to King & Chasemore. We have had Bruno out to value our home but aren't selling right now. My mother needed to sell her properrty on the outskirts of London and we were actively looking for a bungalow for our mother in Ashington. Rebecca was tireless in her persistance when trying to find something for us. We did find one for my mother in the end but it was through another agent however...

Although I knew that Keys Cottage had been on the market for some months ,when King and Chasemore took over the agency, the reduced ,more realistic, asking price, the more interesting, colourful and exciting, presentation of the brochure caught my attention. I phoned the branch office and was immediately impressed by the very professional, confident way Bruno dealt with my enquiry. He quickly arranged a visit to the property. On Sunday Rebecca accompanied my son and I on our viewing of Keys Co...

The team at King & Chasemore in Storrington certainly went 'the extra mile' in their tenacity and perseverance in selling our house. Through no fault of K&C, we had a few false starts and it would have been easy for them to lose interest. But they didn't and their hard work finally paid-off! As we all know, selling a property can be very stressful but the comprehensive and reassuring updates we received kept everyone's nerves at bay! Thanks to Bruno, Rebecca & Marla - you each played...

Bruno and his team at the Storrington office provided fantastic service during the sale of my property. Out of the three estate agents I had interviewed, I chose King & Chasemore because Bruno made a real effort to get to know both me and the property his team were going to sell. He helped to progress the sale when things got stuck during conveyancing by talking to both solicitors and reporting back to me and the buyer. King & Chasemore's wide network of offices was also a selling point ...

We were very pleased with the service we received from K&C. At times, the process moved quite slowly but it was never K&C that caused this, in fact Bruno and Rebecca were often a great source of information and advice in such situations, I sometimes found that Bruno was having to explain things that really our solicitor should have! They liaised well with our own solicitor and others in the chain and pushed for exchange and completion dates at times when others seemed a little inactive. ...

I had to put my father's house on the market earlier this year and three agents came to view it. Bruno Sandilands at King & Chasemore was the only one of the three who called me back afterwards to discuss the viewing and possible options. I was very impressed by Bruno's commitment, because I wanted an agent who would be committed to selling the house. From the beginning Bruno and his team of Alex and Marla were very enthusiastic about the house and its potential, and they conveyed that enthu...

I contacted a member of staff from the Storrington branch inviting him to value and market my house During his visit he told me that he had one or two people that would definitely be interested in my house cutting a long conversation short, he went on to say that if I paid £200 up front it would speed up the process, better and wider advertising. I stupidly signed, but did say not to withdraw any money until I had checked my bank (i would let him know the next day) however, when I check...

Thank you for your comments and feedback. I took over King & Chasemore Storrington as the Branch Manager in March 2014 and this complaint dates back to before that time to the previous manager. As soon as I noticed this review I got in touch with the customer and listened to her concerns as I feel strongly about our customer's feelings and our reputation. As soon as I discussed and listened to Harriet's issue I came up with a solution immediately. I contacted our Head Office and arranged....
