If we are marketing a property and a buyer tries to reduce the amount they are paying for the property on the day of exchange, we will do all we can to act in our clients interest. In this instance we had a back up buyer to whom we sold the property for a higher amount. When you tried to gazump the new buyer our clients understandably did not want to deal with you. What agent could do to change your mind?
Apply customer service standards in all your dealings with your clients. In addition an apology with a degree of empathy would have gone a long way to incurring me with a 6 hour wasted drive and ‚£ 50 in petrol.
