I had excellent service from the James Anderson estate agents. Through their contacts and marketing, a purchaser for my property was found within 8 days. When that person lost her buyer and had to pull out, Jack Gardiner worked hard to find me, successfully, another buyer. He was supportive and kept me informed through the ups and downs of the process. Sensible advice was given on prices and offers....

*They were unable to sell my flat despite being on the market with them for over 6 months. (The next agent I used sold in a few months). They would sometimes come round with prospective customers without arranging with me first. When I told them I no longer wanted to use them, they wouldnt return the keys. The silly girl said she had posted them through my letter box. What a liar. The manager refused to do anything. These people are prime examples of why estate agents have a bad name....

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately as much as we would like to have a 100% success rate with every property we are asked to market, sometimes it just doesn't happen. We arranged and conducted over 30 viewings for your property and provided regular feedback to keep you appraised of developments. When we were asked to return the keys, my colleague dropped them through your letterbox personally. She was very familiar with your property as she had been there a number of times on viewings wi....

Complaints Procedure

Lettings


Should you have any complaints with our service which you are unable to resolve with the individual involved you should then write to the branch/department manager in question. This complaint will be acknowledged within three working days of receipt and an investigation undertaken. A formal written outcome of the investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days. If you remain dissatisfied you will need to write to the Lettings Director at James Anderson, Lambourn House, 17 Sheen Lane, London, SW14 8HY. The same limits will apply. Following the investigation of our Lettings Director a written statement of James Anderson’s final view will be sent to you, this will include any offer made. This letter will confirm that you are entitled if dissatisfied to refer the matter to the Property Ombudsman for review.
