Valerie and Anne have been helping me deal with some issues at a flat we rent. I have only recently been dealing with Valerie but they have been very efficient in resolving a very long and drawn out matter and I appreciate everything they have done to resolve....

Absolutely shocking agency. NEVER use them. From day one of renting a property through Jacksons, we experienced lies, lies and more lies. Ann in particular is an incredibly bad agent who avoids issues that are presented to her and more than happy to ignore distressed tenants' and their property issues. She was very quick and good at processing fee's efficiently, taking our money and letting her other colleagues pick up her mess...... they did a terrible job at this too. After months of stre...

Dear Sir/Madam, Jacksons has been operational for 21 years, and without wishing to come across as defensive we are by no means Γ’β‚¬Λœan absolutely shocking' agency. We are a local business, employing local people, we charge reasonable fees that are significantly lower than larger commercial companies, and we treat our clients with care and decency. I note that your posting has been made anonymously, with little detail and containing almost no facts. If indeed you have been mistreated by ....

I had rented my property through Wands worth office, I think the fee was slightly high, and also with installation of Co detector they charged me too much.

We have the privilege to deal with all Jacksons offices and they always offer a warm welcome. We particularly deal with the maintenance department and they are such a lovely team. They show professionalism and genuine care. It is a true pleasure to deal with everyone at Jacksons especially Louise Bobb, Ann Brown, Jamie-Leigh Wainwright, Charlotte Moore, Karina Selway and Coral Cox....

I have just rented out my flat for the first time through Jacksons and have been very happy with their service. Julia has been consistently helpful and professional in taking me through the process. She was prompt in responding to questions and queries that I had with respect to the tenancy and a significant problem with the gas supply was rectified immediately (work efficiently carried out and completed the next day). I am very happy with the service provided by Jacksons, and would recommend th...

I have worked with and been in contact with lots of estate agents recently with varying experinces, some shockingly bad, some ok and some superb! Working working with you and your service has been superb, not just because I was able to secure a property. The whole process even before this time was excellent! your professsinal freindly approach, and overall focus upon the individual was fantastic and made a difficult process that more managble....

Went for a viewing for a 1bed flat on Strathon Drive SW17. The pictures on Jakson's site look very attractive and the description was great, unfotunately it took us 25 minutes to get to the property from the station instead of 10 as described and when we got the property itself it was a dump. How can someone showcase something very beautiful on their company site and offer such a disapointing and sorry state of a flat. I couldnt believe what Jackson thinks of they potential tenants. Jacksons...

We have had a bad experience with Jacksons since moving into our flat. They consistently don't reply to emails or return phone calls. I have generally had to send 3/4 emails in order to get a response. They were very helpful and accommodating while we were looking for properties, but feel that since we have moved in, they've become neglectful....

I think the fees were fair, but still high. We do feel slightly resentful having paid them, given the treatment we now receive.

I wish I had found this site sooner. This is fantastic. I have so many positive things to say about agencies I have used previously and its great that there is forum to give propective tenants an idea about what they are in for because before you blink you're locked into a tenacy that can make your life a living misery. On the positive side tomorrow is my last day of tenancy and what will hopefully be the last day of an 10 month nightmare. Jackson's are an absolutely appaling agency if you are a...

Respond to your tenants don\'t ignore them. Remember that tenants often become home oweners eventually so they should be treated as fairly as the Landlord\'s you serve because they may one day be the customers you are looking for.

Unfortunately Jacksons were pretty useless throughout our whole tenancy. The chap that showed us the flat was great - really nice guy. There were some obvious issues with the property - in particular a lot of mould on the walls and courtains in the bedroom. Apparently it would be no problem at all to have that rectified before we moved in. Oh, and by the way, you need to pay £180 per person to sign the lease!!! Move in day, and guess what, nothing has been done about the mould. We me...

Rectified issues in a timely manner, honoured agreements when we moved in and returned deposit in timely manner. Simple stuff really - do your job properly and well.
Comment on agent fees
Horrible fees. Extortionate. β€š£180 per person to move in - β€š£360, plus β€š£120 to move out. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ann Brown at Jacksons has been responsible for managing my property for over a year now. My property was my much loved home, before my wife and I moved to New York for a work transfer opportunity, and it will be our home again at some point. I have been very impressed with how Ann appreciates the importance of maintaining the standard we left the property in, and has done a wonderful job in dealing with maintenance issues and the tenant - professional, proactive and courteous - can't ask for mor...

Absolutely terrible service. I am genuinely shocked with the way Jacksons have behaved and will never use them again, as our tenancy has been a catalogue of errors from beginning to end. We are now leaving the property and Jacksons are acting in an extremely unprofessional manner, lying to prospective Tennants and knowingly renting out a property where they know that there are issues which could cause serious health problems (as they have with me) and where they also know the landlord is acting ...

We have been tenants with Jacksons (through Earlsfield branch but the property is managed by the Balham branch) and the experience was terrible. Jacksons in trying to attract the landlords play hard ball with the tenants, it\'s all about them making money and keeping the landlords happy. Our landlord visits the property whenever he wants despite our request to the the agent to make it possible for us to be present on the property but they claimed it was urgent and he needed to come regardless...

The agent should be equally fair to both parties here. We are paying the money and expect to have some say in who and when visits the property, and our requests to be present should be accommodated. Louise Bobb has contacted us about the visit at 6pm telling us the landlord \'needs\' to come in next day. It is not the first time when the landlord has been difficult about repairs/ visits and we have asked her to always give us notice and let the lanlord know we are not happy about it. We have accommodated that by taking time off and working from home before but there no such efforts from the agent\'s side. Whatever the landlord wants, he gets, claiming \'urgency\'.

Marketed my property with Jacksons after having quotes from 3 local agents. Once on the market it wasn\'t long before they were on the phone talking about reducing the price and it ended up to me to keep pushing to receive the price I was aiming for (which was lowert than the lowest price they had initially recommended I accept - but I was trying to be realistic). The first offer I accepted fell through after the buyer failed to get a mortgage (although Jacksons had told me their own broke...

We have recently moved to a new property thanks to Jacksons. The property itself is very nice and the agent was very helpful. When moving, our date was delayed due to contractors and every single storage space (and more) has items left over from the previous tenants. Jacksons who manage the property are being very uncooperative and claim that it falls under the \'furnished\' category of the property. Broken crockery, broken stereos, broken vacuum cleaners and even an old set of crutches sit ...

In response to the comments made by CMG, I can confirm that Jacksons Estate Agents went to great lengths to try and rectify this issue once it came to my attention that they had experienced problems, I also wish to apologise for any issues that arose and the problems they encountered. It is not completely within my power to always be aware of what my staff commit too when conducting viewings. However, I am committed to making sure that such actions by Jacksons staff, when it does occur, is deeme....

Required a 2 bed in Earlsfield for mid November, started looking beginning of September, met one of the lettings agent many times, clearly specified furnished as I have a flat back in Bournemouth which has all my furniture in that I myself are letting out. Saw many properties, all of which I was advised were furnished. First to see a gorgeous property on Swaby Road. Advised by agent that it was fully furnished, 'what you see is what you get' I was told, partner even lay on the bed in front of th...
