A lot of fees.. for many and various things.. compared to Australia or NZ its way over the top, but I'm not landing it with HSC i'm guessing this is endemic based on over regulation

Both referees complained that the referencing process was time consuming and the online system didn't work. My boss ended up having to call the agency for support and fill out the form twice. The tenancy started very badly, as promises done during the negotiation went unattended (a letter from the landlord stating that the price would not have been increased for one year, in the case of a contract renewal was never received! but I still have the email from the agent... :-) ). Recently purchased a property, with Kirk being the agent. He was very helpful and flexed his schedule to allow multiple visits prior to purchase. He was also on hand to take the surveyor round with little notice so I didn't have to get time off work. Kirk provided excellent support to enable us to battle through a sale transaction which was over complicated by the lawyers on both sides. He facilitated communications effectively to help us close the sale and remained professional throughout. So far it has been terrible! First they changed the contract after I signed a first copy and paid the first month and deposit. I was promised that I would have been provided with a signed letter from the landlord stating that I would have had an additional year after the end of the term at the same price (letter never arrived and when I reminded I didn't get any answer from them). We do list customer care very highly within our organisation and have systems and procedures to deal all types of queries and problems. This agent is horrible. They give you ridiculous excuses to delay taking action when repairs and problems arises and requested. Few excuses such we lost the email/s, we only have your foreign number (that is after they have been updated numerous times and renting at the same property for 3 years), or they do not reply at all.
