I agree with previous comment from another Landlord, all appears to be running smoothly from the initial starting point with Mark actually taking an interest but as soon as that part is done, from experience he appears to us to hide away from confrontation. Cracks soon start to appear, and since using them from October 2017, it looks like negative experiences began mid - late 2018, just as we have experienced! Their in-house admin which you as a landlord may come to rely upon at a later date is not apparent, even losing their copy of a tenancy agreement for another property with no explanation and none returning of phone calls as it appears they cant explain themselves. I should have seen the warning signs when they asked me to do a positive review on here to counteract previous negative reviews. Please disregard my previous positive review, which was at their request, after 2 month of using them for 1 property, my experience certainly does not reflect this down the line after managing a further 5 properties. Our tenants have all expressed a poor service experience, so it has all comes out in the wash!

If your thinking of renting a property i would go elsewhere. We rented a property for a 1 & 1/2 years, right from the start we had nothing but issues. The property was in a poor state of repair. If your thinking of renting a property i would go elsewhere. We rented a property for a 1 & 1/2 years, right from the start we had nothing but issues. The property was in a poor state of repair. Mr wheeldon was the landlord to our property and his only care was for his pockets to be lined with your cash. Steer clear and go with a more reputable company. When me and a friend of mine moved in to one of their rental houses, they were not helpful at all. In my bedroom, the window was locked, the carpet was smelly and old. I emailed them about this problem and after 2 weeks i had to email them again, since they didn't reply to me. After 6 months the maintenance came, established that the window could not be fixed cheaply and they left and never came back. I had to stay in a room for a year and half where the window could not be opened. At the end of the tenancy, they wanted to take the full deposit from us, for the carpet which was already dirty and smelly when we moved in, and for cleaning although we cleaned the house to the same standard as we found it when we moved in. Thanks to DPS, we got our deposit back. Unfortunately i have to give them 1 star, if i could i would give them -5 stars. AVOID THIS AGENCY!

Absolutely disgusted with this letting agent. Don't be fooled as to start with all seems fine, the director even came out himself to view the house and chat but in the end the usual thing happened with greedy people/companies and as they get busier they forget about the customers that gave them a chance in the first place. For nearly 4 whole years 5 Towns did not hear a peep out of me collecting their money for now what I realise was doing absolutely nothing. No regular checks were done on the house as promised at the start of the contract which would of stopped the animals in the house that weren't allowed, the carpets left filthy and having to be replaced could of also been dealt with at the time or even just one visit but none in 4 years. When my tenants stopped paying for no reason the measures they had in place to help you out as their customer were pathetic. I was told they were texting the customer daily to find out why they had not paid that's all a txt that was ignored, they even said they would drive by the house which would help in no way at all. I suggest if you are thinking about using this company to strongly reconsider and look elsewhere as there are more professional outfits out there who will be a lot more helpful and actually reply to e-mails.

Mark is a very proactive Manager in his 5 Towns Pontefract Lettings Agency.
As a Landlord client of his, I find him very approachable and passionate about Property Sales and Management.
We met in person face to face and have had a mutually respectful relationship from the very start;
where he listened to my specific needs ....." from a Landlord's perspective" ...... before I agreed to trial-test his Agency with a portion of my extensive property portfolio.
