Overall disgraceful service. Chloe was exceptional to deal with over the years (5 stars to Chloe) - she'd be much better in a more professional letting office to reflect her excellent mannerisms when dealing with landlords. Tracey was a nightmare to deal with. Very bad manners, hanging up at least twice when I phoned to see why our 2 year license was cancelled even though it had 3 years left to run. They cancelled license instead of asking if I had transferred the property to another agent. I moved from Hunters as I lived in NI and had no contacts for carrying out work in Liverpool. This wasn't very professional for a letting service. They charge excessive fees on inventory, etc. The property was left in bad state of repair and they wouldn't request the deposit back as they didn't hold deposit pics. Rent wasn't always paid on time even though tenant had paid them. I can understand why some of the staff only receive 1 star...

Appalling letting and estate agents, stay well clear. Came from London to have an appointment at the property to go over the refurbishment and get back on the market , Tracey did not turn up despite confirming with her several times the few days before, sales department no better , when discussing looking to see the boy said all leasehold properties are worthless and unsaleable due to cladding, wouldn’t listen or couldn’t understand our property did not have cladding and just said it was worthless as soon as he knew it was leasehold. Utter rubbish. Terrible estate and letting agents, terrible communication , they just cannot be bothered. Oh still have the tenants deposit after a month as we claimed for cleaning on it, they can’t be bothered chasing up the dps for that either nor will respond about it. Again can’t be bothered stay clear. Vile !

Hunters are beyond a joke. No two ways about it. Got contract signed, they allowed tenant to reneg for COVID, but guess what, they didn't have the courtesy to let me know they had done that, and I found out weeks later at start date. No words can describe the service I got from Leah Connor who sold my flat, it was the best I've ever received from any estate agents!! The sale was a long drawn out process, 6.5 months, but no fault of Leah's. Whenever i needed questions and answers I always got the response quickly. To be honest, I don't know what I would have done without Leah, she listened to my moans and groans, she encouraged me to continue with the sale when I wanted to withdraw and re advertise it again, because it was just taking so long, and eventually we got there with enormous help from Leah. So thank you Leah.

Be extremely wary of this lettings agent. There are (have been) some very helpful staff members, however, there is very high turnover and important information and emails often do not get passed on. When issues arise, management staff will not take responsibility, avoid making contact, or produce material which is deceiving. There are also many instances of hidden/incorrect fees and misinformation given. Very dodgy practice indeed.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Appoint honest people. the whole process felt uncomfortable from the start. But we were reassured that everything was above board. it took 2 different solicitors firms to point out that we were in a contract race even though denied by estate agent. hunters you need to train your staff properly
