Aimee is a brilliant property manager and is always very attentive and easy to deal with. If she's out when you phone, she gets back to you very quickly and listens well to any concerns you may have. She is also proactive in making sure that things that need attention are dealt with quickly and checking that we as landlords are happy with the proposed course of action. She is personable and friendly and inspires confidence that your property is being well looked after in your absence. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a property manager.

We lived in this property for a number of years, and each time we needed anything to be done Hamptons were very swift in arranging for the work to be completed, this was very different to the provious agency (Hamptons took over from another company).
When we came to move out, the process was very straight forward. The landlords wanted to do some work to the property before putting it on the market again so there were multiple visits from builders and the landlord over a number of weeks, which was slightly frustrating, but Hamptons were very accommodating with the timings of these visits.
My only gripe is that once we had moved out we had to chase for bond to be returned. Our portfolio manager was very slow in getting back to us, and often didn't respond at all, so we had to escalate our request. Once we did, both Paul and Luciana were superbly helpful and managed to move things forward very quickly. If it hadn't have been for the portfolio manager I would have given 5 stars instead of 4.

Smart lets the check in and check out agency messed up the inventory ( I do recommend read this form and flag up even the smallest issues go back to the agent straight away and keep a copy of it. ) and when we came to check out a year later the mess unravelled. Becuase the property was so large the check in and out report conflicted and I then had to try and find bits of paper from a year ago. Then this angel Melissa Dowdall the property manager appeared and spent a month sorting out the mess.

Towards the end of the tenancy, I thought we were unfairly charged for certain items but, despite a slow process, the end result was successful negotiation with the Landlord through Hamptons.

There was a significant delay in our landlord providing his approval for us to move in, however Nick continued to chase daily and always kept me informed of what was going on. I believe his and Paul's efforts in contacting the landlord enabled us to move in only one day later than originally planned.

Even after I have moved in, despite having some issues that need attending to with the flat Melissa has been so responsive and I feel absolutely confident that our issues will be resolved as soon as possible. I think it is very rare to be able to say that you trust your estate agent, and their property management service and I am lucky to say that I can!

We called Hampton Int in Haywards Heath and were immediately reassured that they would be able to help us, within a short time we were having viewings and had found the perfect place. Everything was very straight forward and we were able to gain access and construct our kennels within a very short period and move in within the month.

I have been a tenant in this property for over twenty years and the owners have changed a number of times. Over the years the properties and surrounding communal halls and gardens have gradually deteriorated making them a much less desirable a place to live in.
However since this latest change in ownership and managing agents there has been an immense improvement in a very short time. The owners genuinely do appear to want to pull the place back into shape My first hand experience has been with Ms Daddow and I cannot praise her enough. She has quickly dealt with troublesome neighbours and recently arranged replacement carpet for an elderly tenant but most importantly, the contracted cleaners/gardeners she has arranged are the best we've ever had in twenty years. The site has never looked so clean and tidy. Ms Daddow is a pleasure to deal with, answering correspondence quickly, efficiently, politely and with humour.
Double glazing is shortly to be installed and after twenty years of it having been promised, the new owners have come up trumps! Keep up the good work!

We have been using Hamptons to rent our family home since moving to San Francisco in Jan 2011. They are very experienced in the lettings market and have always been incredibly professional. Melissa Daddow in the Haywards Heath office is always quick to respond to enquires/problems from our tenants and keeps us well informed - which can be difficult with an 8 hour time difference. We would not hesitate to recommend both Melissa, and Hamptons.
