They charge for anything and everything and have "their contractors" triple the costs of actual work that has to be done.

DONT USE!!! As a foreign landlady I lost more than half the rent to this agent!
They charge for anything and everything and have "their contractors" triple the costs of actual work that has to be done.
They fail to keep landlords up to date on changing laws. (delay of 2 months and I was only informed after I contacted them) Due to this I am losing another couple of thousands.
I had paid for professional photos taken of my property, they were never provided to me and I am now told that they are deleted.

We were a professional couple looking for a long term rental to call home. We looked at a property that Haart were advertising and Ella was the agent from Haart representing the property. We decided to put an offer on, and emailed Ella the details less than an hour after seeing the property. This was on a Thursday evening. We had no reply until 10am the next day when Ella told us another offer had been put on the property, and Ella asked us to confirm our final offer with any amendments. We discussed amongst ourselves and emailed through our final offer 2 hours which was at/above the original asking price. From this point forward we never heard from Ella or Haart again! No confirmation on whether or not our offer was accepted or why. We've emailed and called Ella and the Haart offices and had zero reply, despite they continue to push rental adverts to my mobile number. This is beyond appalling service to not reply to customers who put an offer in, even more so when it's a competitive offer at/above the asking price.

From rearranging viewings at the last minute, to the well-informed and friendly agents who answered every question with courtesy and grace, to the swift resolution process and excellent customer care, we were very impressed with every aspect of Haart's service. I would especially recommend Esta Wilson, who went over and above the call of duty and was both genuinely charming and extremely efficient - her reassurance and support made the whole experience so much more pleasant.

Haart were almost useless from the word go: they did not know anything about the property's roof, who owned the surrounding land, or whether planning had been granted for the extension. They were so bad at contacting the vendor we did it directly ourselves. We made an offer through Haart: they relayed this incorrectly to the vendor, whilst also repeatedly spelling our names wrong and not copying us in on communications. When the house finally sold they only found out after completion. Utterly hopeless. Do not sell your house with them. If buying, you'll have to do it yourself.

Dreadful communication throughout. We bought a property from Haart. Through the process they were unable to be reached by phone or email, they were discourteous, and seemed incapable of listening to our concerns. As a concrete example, one message took three and a half weeks to receive a reply despite several follow ups and chasing. At one point we were very close to calling the deal off because their communication gave us no confidence that the sale was going ahead. The only reason they get a second star is because (eventually) the deal went through. Compared to our other side of the chain, their service was deplorable.

Horrendous service from Haart in Brixton. We are tenants of a property and have been plagued with problems since we started. Avoid completely.
We were told two days before the move-in day that it would have to be moved. We were promised that this would be so that everything could be finished to a high standard when we did move in. This would have been inconvenient but understandable, were it not for the fact that we had already requested a move-in day 7 days later than the property was advertised as available from, giving plenty of time for work to be completed.
The conditions we placed with our initial offer included new mattresses, wardrobes and blinds, and a repaint, which was all accepted by the landlord. We were assured that when the move-in day was changed that everything would be sorted but it quickly became apparent that this would not be the case. Our wardrobes did arrive on the move-in day, but three days later we are still without mattresses and blinds. A phonecall to the furniture supplier allowed us to discover that the order for mattresses had only been placed by the agency 2 days after we had already moved in. We suspect this happened at all because we went into branch on this day and inquired about their delivery.
One bedroom has also not been painted as requested despite the 8 days available for this work to be done.
We were also only given one key on our move-in day and three days later are still unaware of where the other keys are. We had to cut our own keys but obviously feel very unsafe knowing that three more keys are unaccounted for.
Communication has been terrible - we were only informed of a missing piece of paperwork half an hour before we were due to move in, leaving us and all our belongings stood out in the street as they would not hand over the keys. Other communication issues include guarantors not being included in emails/sent forms which specifically required them to read/sign. We were not even contacted to make the payment of rent/fees/deposit (as we were told we would be). Other London lettings agencies have been quite the opposite - almost hassling tenants for information/money but Haart seem completely negligible on this front.
We feel we have been treated unfairly and with no respect or value despite being customers of a service.

I have been horrified at the service I have received. The staff do not respond with any speed even to extremely urgent issues (the ceiling just fell in - I have emailed them twice for news and still received no response in 2 days). In only two and a half years they have cost me money in damages to the property by tenants that they assured me would be covered by the tenant's deposit and in bailiff fees for unpaid council tax by my tenants which they told me they had informed the council about. I am living abroad and so am extremely reliant on them to take care of the property and my experience has been one of disinterest to the point of downright negligence which has been seriously detrimental to the relationship with the tenants. Horrific. Avoid at all costs.
