I would never to back to this agents EVER. I travelled a 2 and a half car journey with my children to fill out paper work for a house that we so desperately wanted. Communication was very poor. Often we had to chase multiple times to get even a reply from them, let alone a resolution to whatever issue we were chasing about at the time. Staff were totally disinterested in helping. Issues raised often dragged on for months without a satisfactory resolution....

I recently travelled a three hour return trip down to Southampton with my daughter to view a flat listed with this agent. My daughter will be 20 in September and is a student at Southampton University. When she made the appointment to view the flat, she specified that she would be a student when asked why she was moving. I have requested a refund since October and she doesn't ever reply on time, taking her own sweet time to reply me ONCE every month. It's now the 20th of March and she can completely ignore my messages and I STILL HAVE NO REFUND. I would give zero stars if possible...

I have never been treated or spoken to so badly by a company as goadsby. Unforgivably rude staff, dismissive and repugnant attitude. Even if you love the property they are letting, do not do it. Ridiculously high fees. Ridiculously low standard of care. The worst company I have ever had dealings with by a long mile. Even their contract staff when coming to deal with a problem say the same!...

We are tenants in a property and the landlord is trying to sell it through Goadsby. For some very strange reason NONE of the staff members working at that branch seem to understand what "24 hours written notice to conduct viewings" mean. It\'s very frustrating that people are paid to do jobs which they don\'t know how to do properly. Totally rubbish and a waste of time once they receive your money they do not have any moral values or duty of care to the Tennant My property has a very crafty wind and so cold in the flat it had an infestation of siders that i had to clear up the hob was not working and the batch/shower is unusable as there is more pressure in a water pistol ..i asked for help and i was really upset instead of helping get a crappy letter stating that payment is late even though advised that i will pay...DO NOT...

Myself and my girlfriend firstly put too much trust in Goadsby. I asked for a flat where I could get a permit for parking as I am in the Royal Marines and use a military vehicle to get to and from work. They could have integrity and help, like we agreed. They have caused me so much hassle and am on the brink of breaking up my relationship through arguments due to all the stress of this.

Our father died suddenly last year, leaving his property in Southampton to us. We all live in Norfolk so needed a professional and sympathetic agent to sell and keep an eye on the place in the meantime. The Goadsby team ticked all the right boxes and more - at no point did we feel the need to rush down to Southampton and check on the flat and they even read the meters for us when the place sold. The most unprofessional agency ever. When we moved in into rented flat, we realized that the shower doesn't work at all. It took us 2,5 months until they fixed it. Now we have mould in our flat: on windows, kitchen walls, even in a fridge. They don't care. We started to have health problems - they don't believe that mould can be so dangerous. Don't rent anything from Goadsby Southampton....

Where to start, problem 1) moving in day (a Saturday) turned up to be told that we still had several hundred pounds to pay, when we said we had paid everything we were told they had forgotten to give us this particular form! Problem 2) we were renting an unfurnished property after being promised carpet were to be replaced and a fridge freezer would be provided turned up to find they were not there! Goadsby are awful! They do not care about your well being as a tennant - from the wording of the contract, the way they never ring you back (surely they want your business?), to the manner in which they speak to you it all makes you feel like a criminal. Charging an arm and a leg for references when they dont do anything!
