Considering this is not a small local Estate Agent in Stockton Heath, this is how you are treated as if you have entered into their little family and they will look after you completely.
We initially placed house on market earlier in year secured 2 buyers immediately but could not find anywhere to move to so removed property. Then our dream home came on the market. The team put it back on market and had it sold first weekend to a cash buyer. We decided to use their recommendation of Solicitor and absolutely delighted with their service. Direct line to your own solicitor available every time I called!
Every time I became anxious Karen McDonough would calm me by reassuring me all is how it should be
Christine Rees Manager even called to our house with our buyer to clear some last minute issues leaving us all happy to proceed 2 days later.
I cannot recommend this team enough

I instructed this estates agent to
Try and find me a tenant.
For a property I was renting.
We had s couple of viewing and finally go a tenant who wanted the property. Lee was selling this lady's
House got her and assured me her sale was going through with no problems. I contacted him later that
Week and he told me to my surprise
That her sale had fell though.
I told him to put it back on the market straight away.
It was put on 2 days later.
The agent rang me a couple of days
Later and ask if I could hold the property for this lady.
I agreed to hold the property for
1 month at 50% reduce rate while her sale went though. The new tenant was very happy and agreed to go head. I told the estate agent to do the deal. To my horror the day before the beginning of the new month I got a email from lee saying
She had found an other property.
I feel the this is a total conflict of interest. I also was shocked that
The contract which I had told them to sort out on my behave had not been carried out. This company is
Only interested in big sales. I would stay clear. This agent has cost me �2700. BE WARNED STAY AWAY.

Gascoigne Halman were instructed to market a jointly owned property. They explained in detail the current markets and who to target. Impressively within the first few days the first to see was the buyer. The asking price was reached. The sale was more than complex without Christine Rees managing the sale beyond her remit, I believe we would have a different story. House selling is never a pleasure .... it is with Christine.

Over the years we've dealt with many estate agents and you don't always get the impression that they're 'on your side', however, the team at Gascoigne's provided a professional service which gave you comfort in knowing that what they where doing was in our best interests.
We actually sold and bought through them and therefore, as you'd expect, there where various obstacles frown in their/our way throughout the process and I'm pleased that Gascoigne's did everything within their powers to make sure the obstacles where overcome and that everything went through as smoothly as is possible.
We all know that moving house is a very stressful and we're not in a hurry to make another move, but if or when we do then we'll be talking with the Stockton Heath team.

Friends we've known for thirty years had been delighted with every aspect of their dealings with this agent. Chris arrived promptly, smartly turned out, courteous and with excellent listening skills. Of the three agents we invited to visit the property, we were impressed by the speed with which Chris grasped our situation and needs and carefully explained and illustrated her proposed strategy. Her valuation seemed entirely realistic and she had prepared extremely well for our meeting, illustrating her points with the most recent sales in the same location, which she had to hand. The advice Chris gave, in our case, was to offer the property for sale at auction. We had no experience of this but had every confidence in her judgement. The publicity material was superbly produced and the viewings were well organised. We were kept fully informed at every stage. The auction was held in a well presented and well organised room in a very accessible hotel. Four other properties were sold at the same auction. The auctioneer worked well and the successful bid was extremely satisfying. We believe that the buyer has obtained excellent value and that we have the best price. We saw that the buyer was well looked after and her interests were well managed by Chris as we moved towards completion. Like our friends before us, we were utterly delighted with the agent's handling of the sale and felt that Chris and the hard working team at the Stockton Heath office had treated us as valued customers throughout. Buying or selling, we would both recommend this agent to anyone and use their services ourselves. Well done Chris and thank you.

This was a particularly difficult purchase which (through no fault if the agent) took nearly ten months. Throughout this period both Karen and Lee provided a very professional yet personal service which supported me as the buyer and the seller also. Karen in particular return emails and 'phone calls almost immediately and never any later than 24 hours later despite on occasion not having any developments to support. I would wholly recommend this company and I am extremely grateful to them for helping me eventually purchase my dream home.

When selling your home and you finding another that is perfect for you you need as little stress as possible. No one willingly parts with around £8000 but these were the terms agreed and the agent did the work required so any irritations about the size of the fee are due to my own feelings rather than anything else!

We dealt with Lee Tickle at Gascoigne Halman, Stockton Heath branch. Lee demonstrated a good understanding of the kind of property we were interested in buying and kept us up to date with properties that were coming to the market. Lee advised us of a house that we had shown an interest in that had already been sold was to come back on the market as the sale had fallen through. He acted quickly to let us know and we had an offer accepted within a few days. The purchase process was very smooth thanks to Karen McDonough who kept us up to date and chased any queries that we had. We would recommend using this agent for both sales and purchases.

I cannot recommend Christine more highly, she has masses of integrity and honesty and is tireless at finding a solution in difficult circumstances.
