Alex was always pleasant, responsive and attentive at all times during the sale process and found the right buyer in the end in a falling market. I'm not sure GP's back office is as slick as it could be, or as some other agents, but the fees were highly competitive and the job got done all the same....

Rented through Gascoigne a few times and they have been brilliant. Previous landlord decided not to stay with gascoigne due to some silly errors which I was really disappointed with. If the landlord had stayed with gascoigne we might not have lived with no garden for 2 years. Gascoigne and pees have always sorted things very quickly, and even refunded me some fees due to landlord being a nightmare. Will always use them in the future....

Undervalued the rent by £250-300 pcm. Lost tenants paperwork. Tried to delay tenants moving in day before they were due to. Lost our keys, employed locksmith who broke our front door & refused to accept liability, causing damage (ie the door now doesn't shut properly). No legal agreement issued as names of landlord were incorrect. £500 fees taken that were never discussed or agreed to. Provided 'model tenants who have rented with us for years' who consistently paid late, refused ...

With regards to your comments, I know personally the people that rented your property and that wasn't the situation. Gascoigne and pees did not under value your property, if anything your tenants paid more than they should have. You rented your property under the impression everything would be fine. Your tenants had no use of the garden as the continuous flooding which you never ever fixed and the problem had been there over ten years. The beginning of the purchase, as you'll remember, was really quite slow and confusing. Your colleague who we have since learned is no longer with the company, was telling us the certain things were happening but actually, our solicitor was telling us that this wasn't the case, which was unfortunate. Nightmare, allowed tenant to move furniture in before commencement of lease. Had not taken a deposit from tenant. Allowed tenant to request repair service monthly for minor issues to generate fees at a cost of 3 months rental. Allowed tenant to give incorrect notice. Witheld rent to cover their errors. Property trashed. No comeback on them. It's a shame but not my fault attitude. Abysmal and incompetent. Reported to regulatory bodies. ...
