I have never in the 9 years of renting experienced Such unprofessional agents and money grabbers. We moved to Derby from Milton Keynes. I was told to bring the deposit and rent etc to the office and sign the tenancy before going to the house, Which we did. When we went to the house, it was disgusting and filthy. Nothing had been cleaned, the garage was full of somebody's belongings, and we were never told. the rooms were a mess, and so was the whole house. Anyway, they agreed to get it cleaned....

As a first time student renter I put down a reservation fee on a studio flat with Adam which effectively meant that flat was mine. This fee was considerably more than what I was first told and when I text to ask why, he replied he would contact me at the end of the day to explain but never did. He was then to pass me onto his colleague who worked for Bairstow Eves. After not hearing from her after a week, I rung this colleague to find that she had heard nothing of me viewing this flat twice or o...

I marketed my property with Frank Innes and really wish I had not. Their main aim is to get as much money from you as possible from the outset. Was pressurised into paying £478 from my mobile phone whilst in my own home. Why do they charge a fee when no other agent does ? The service you receive after parting with your cash is very poor and I could not wait for the 16 week contract to end which incidentally is much longer than any other agent ! I now have my property on the market with ...

Absolutely appalling service. No joined up thinking whatsoever. Dealing with Countrywide in Nottingham and the branch in Derby to chase arrears from a runaway tenant is a futile exercise. No calls returned, appalling phone manner and no knowledge or empathy. Avoid at all costs....

Not impressed at all by the service. Of three properties I viewed, not one had the details set up correctly on the website. Fourth floor flat turned out to be on the ground floor. Another property was listed as available now but turned out to be occupied for the next month. The third had secure parking listed but the car park was a few months away from being ready, still a building site. Option to find a parking space on a side street already fully parked up not ideal at all. I was unhappy that ...

Terrible service. Multitude of errors culminating in us being out of pocket by £810. Although staff were pleasant and friendly (mostly) all the way through the tenancy the complete mess that was caused cannot be overlooked. To start with we were told conflicting information about handing our notice in. We were confused as to what the wording in our contract meant so tried to clarify with agents and was given wrong information over the phone. This meant we put a holding fee and referenc...

Better communication by staff. Staff need to look carefully at tenant information to give correct responses to queries.

Absolutely awful! My parter and I were so excited about renting out first property but frank Innes ruined it for us. Firstly we got charged £600+ in fees when we were told they were £100 each. Secondly, they did not even get a reference for myself as i was on a zero hour work contract; but they still took the money. When we went to pick the keys up, the customer service was poor, miserable staff. We were due to have a house visit for an agreed date but no one turned up and we had to ...

Awful in every capacity of the word, avoid like a shark-infested plague! We originally went with Benjamin Oliver but they sold part of their portfolio to Frank Innes. This is where everything went down the toilet. Ironically, the branch have lots of customer service certificates hanging up in the office... the neanderthals working there must have scribbled these in crayon on bar mats as I cannot see what they could have won them for. Whoever you ring is always on "lunch" or has...

Apologies, if this prints twice - I pressed the wrong button... Great start, poor after service - specifically requested long-term tenants but tenants only stayed 6 months (had strict requirements and was prepared to wait for right tenant). Utilities not correctly recorded, errors during inspection and maintenant issues ignored. Complaint to Manager, Jon Staley, acknowedged but subsequently ignored. Always felt like I was being given the brush off - response to enquiries always brief and c...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Mistakes happen but honesty goes a long way and so does courtesy - I don\'t appreciate being ignored or passed around especially when I am unable to just \'pop\' into the branch to sort out issues! Their brochure states best possible service, but unfortunately the service I got was sub-standard and unprofessional - certainly not worth the management fees I paid - Frank Innes needs to relook at their customer service and employ dedicated, honest staff if they expect their company to be recommended by past and present clients... and in this economical climate finding replacements shouldn\'t be that difficult.

Strongly advise to not use!! This company and their property management team do not value any customer views at all. They are dishonest, unreliable, uncompassionate and very poorly ran. No one takes responsibility and they reply with very blunt and personal remarks. Finally, they say things that you want to hear to supress you, and also find loopholes to scare and back you into a corner. It would be sensible to avoid them....
