DO NOT USE FOXTONS Horrible service for a rediculous price, lied about improvements the property would under go while viewing property, however on move in nothing was done, stating that it wasn't actually agreed on so now I'm having to live in a property with a tile hanging off the wall and messy walls even though they said it'll all be fixed. On top of this basic things weren't even done, such as cleaning and inventory check. On top of this we didn't have a fire alarm fitted plus 10 light bul...

i have used foxton's for 12 years, initially the service was very good and they paid attention to my property, and they always got new tenants. But since the financial crisis there has been a dramatic drop in service, they have no interest in the property and their property management service just seems to be about collecting money at every opportunity. they seem to have no idea of what is happening at the property, (7 weeks after tenants moved out I discovered they'd left 10 bags of rubbish in...

Steven Mcguire did a good job of relentlessly showing our property to a large number of buyers. Because of the effort he and, particularly his colleague Billy Brawn put in we found the right buyer and got a price that enabled us to buy the house we wanted. I also felt Steven was helpfully calm during the sales process and, crucially, was very responsive when we needed him to speak to the buyer and work out what was happening. On one occasion the deal could have fallen apart but I think because ...

Fees were high, which I wasn't happy about initially but they justified them in the end, especially as we had totally incompetents managing our purchase. The difference in response times and advice was world's apart.

Terrible experience when trying to renew tenancy for short term, by one month on top of 12 month tenancy agreement. Why so short - we are leaving the country. Tenancy was coming to an end in three months and we were asked to renew or leave. A one month extension was agreed to, we signed agreement & paid the £96 renewal fee (extortion for few admin tasks/documents). Within 4 days of the initial agreement, we were told Landlord had changed their mind and would not agree to just one mont...

Where to begin. Foxtons were one of a few options over agents when we first moved. We found a property as students to share. The property was supposedly managed by Foxtons for the Landlord, which was later changed. When we first viewed properties, I myself found Foxtons to be charming and persuasive. However my housemates received a colder unprofessional vizard. The employee Charlie chew gum and left the viewing to their own desire and avoided questions. We were stung with unbelievable rent cons...

What a worse nightmare they are, I bought flat from them .....,first they lie about service charges and ground rent, then they ask you to put 1 % deposit and no refundable . and nothing you can do about that they claims they have been informed by the vendor and not them, and you can't get your 1% back.. here is the trikes they used to sell you the property... I want to say, that Andrew Gillies, from your Kingston office, was absolutely amazing. He has gone above and beyond to help me to find a house. I will be looking for another property in 6-7 months, and I will be definitely coming back. Over the past month, I have interacted with many agencies, but by far Foxtons has offered the best service. It has been respectful and helpful attitude of Andrew, which made the search for the housing enjoyable. So thank you!...

Gabriel and Steve at Foxtons where superb from start to finish. After having my flat on Market for 2 months with a different agent, I approached Foxtons who had 4 Viewings arranged on the first day. After being called at work ( despite being asked not to) and on my mobile three to four times a day, I finally relented to attend a viewing with Foxtons, Kingston. I was due to meet the agent at 1030 outside the property. It was a particulalry cold day and I made sure to be outside the property early. After ten minutes and no sign, I text the agent only, and she said "she was on her way". After another 10 minutes of waiting, I crossed the road to get a bus back into the town, only to ...

The staff at Foxtons were lovely when we first found the property we wanted to rent......that is until they got our money. Then they stopped responding to our emails and after 3 months called to say we still owed rent - which we thought they had sorted out when we first moved in. They didn\'t apologise for their mistake, all they cared about was when we would made the payment. They also talked us into a 2 year lease - making out like this would be our only chance of getting the property and we\'...

Hi The following is an email which I sent to the head office of Foxtons on 14/08/12--Since then I continue to be impressed with Sophie Doran who offers what all estate agents should aspire to accomplish . She is still dealing with our search and in our opinion achieves 100% in all aspects of customer service, efficiency and good manners. So much so that I have appointed her as our sole agent to find our requirements. Also, I must confess that I have never been an estate agent fan. However the ...

We live in Australia and decided to sell our property in Kingston, finding an agent was no small task being abroad. So with some hesitation we signed up with Foxtons. Well the service they promised and the service we got from Christian Dickson was far superior to what we expected.
