As an agent - having worked at Foxtons in the past. It sounds like you got a bad landlord, not an agent. Landlords holding off on signing agreements to find better offers or a sales tenant is unfortunately fairly prevalent! The reason Foxtons takes your monies due and gets a signed agreement is that this is then binding and there is no going back - this is exactly because of what has happened to you, so your complaint is actually fairly contradictory. Bad: never reachable Bad: doesn't care for the situation you are in ( no empathy) Bad: has been appealed to fix the property ( has still not been fixed) Bad: Even if you ask him, you leave him mails and voicemails he will NOT call you back. Even if he says he will. Bad: works on his own pace and the feeling we got from him is at his own pace. Bad: Same as above with answering the phone.

The property manager assigned answers promptly and politely. Foxtons applies a very efficient online document management system for landlords. Phone calls are always taken and forwarded to the property manager. I am very pleased with Foxtons' services....
