If there was a review for minus 1 I would have chosen minus 10 for this agency! From the start of the tenancy they broke an agreement to have the place in good repair BEFORE I moved in, the flat had not even been cleaned in the midst of covid! If there was a review for minus 1 I would have chosen minus 10 for this agency! From the start of the tenancy they broke an agreement to have the place in good repair BEFORE I moved in, the flat had not even been cleaned in the midst of covid! It took complaints to the highest level and 6 weeks before the place was brought up to the level that had been promised and during that time I was forced to live in a hotel as tere was no toilet or bathroom facilities to use it the property!!. Through the course of the year the property management arm of the company were even worse. They only responded to my queries after several emails and threats to involve higher management or lawyers, for example the toilet in the apartment has been blocked for coming on 2 weeks and sewage is entering the bath plug, but there has been no urgency on the part of the property management team to come and remedy the works required. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE FOXTONS !!

My experience was bad, sorry TERRIBLE. Terrible property management!!!
Moved in 2 months ago to find a leaking sink(bathroom). They've sent and “engineer” to fix it just to make it worse. 2 months later and 3 engineers “fixing” the problem and I live with a pool in my bathroom. Obviously they dont want to change the sink...they just trying to fix it. Last engineer left without a word..no phones or emails to explain when they will sort it out. Contacted the agency and then the property management ...they promised I will get back from them...another week with wet feet and not a word from them.

I live in a property managed by Foxtons and there are multiple issues which never get fixed - avoid Foxtons managed properties as they dont care about thier tenants!!
- the shower is leaking, foxtons put some silicon and say 'its sorted'
- the leak left a discolored patch on the kitchen cieling, Foxtons' won't repaint it
- Foxtons did not give me keys to the inner doors
- one door got locked by mistake, Foxtons' sent a locksmith that removed the lock. now there's a whole in the door and Foxtons wont fix it
- there is a broken shelf in the bathroom cupboard. Foxtons wont fix it
- the fan in the toilet ws short circuiting the electrics. Foxtons disconnected it but wont replace it
- The main electric board is under the kitchen worktop, just by the washing machine pipes. Foxtons see no issue with that and wont move the board.
- Foxtons wont produce an electical safety report as they are not legally bound to produce one till June

Having agreed to provide a valuation specifically for probate purposes, they then only produced a valuation for future selling with an asking price and refused to provide a correct valuation. They appear not to understand the difference between Probate and Selling valuations.
Subsequent attempts to resolve the issue with the branch just made matters worse.
Furthermore, during the valuation, their agent showed wholly inappropriate interest in acquiring for himself personal property belonging to my dead father.
I certainly would never have any dealings with this company, ever, and would caution anyone considering doing so, especially if seeking to obtain a valuation for probate, as this could potentially result in paying more tax that would otherwise be due.

Horrible service for a rediculous price, lied about improvements the property would under go while viewing property, however on move in nothing was done, stating that it wasn't actually agreed on so now I'm having to live in a property with a tile hanging off the wall and messy walls even though they said it'll all be fixed.
On top of this basic things weren't even done, such as cleaning and inventory check.
On top of this we didn't have a fire alarm fitted plus 10 light bulbs were missing.
When trying to get assistants from foxtons, who also manage the property their responses were poor and cold, not caring that the flat was in an awful condition, no help what so ever and when trying to follow up on enquiries I've received responses such as what do you expect me to do about it or from the manager himself I'd rather be doing better things with my Saturday afternoon than sorting out someone else's lightbulbs
Not being funny but id rather be unpacking and having a smoother move than dealing with your awful service on a Saturday afternoon.
Due to poor communication and no response on their part we now can't have maintenance fit in lights until three days after move in day due to their negligence.
For �420 agency fees it's disgusting the service you receive from them and I heavily urge others to look else where when looking for properties as all foxtons care about is your money.
