very poor service from branch, no response to calls and no one interested in 6 months was for sale. they seem to not want to deal with and wanted me to go to auction which is not something that i wanted to do after that they lost interest in selling it and did not bother anymore with the marketing, ... Initially they chased me to market my property. I listened to their big promises and signed the paperwork. I put the house on at the price they suggested and agreed a Boxing Day Boost. With only one viewing and initial feedback about the garden, it remained as was. On a second check-in with the same viewer they mentioned the location. I filled Agent in on the benefits of both the garden and the location and requested more than once to remove the awful grainy effect on the photos, these remained grainy even with further photos being taken. Without viewings I was reluctant to alter the price. The agreement was a weekly check in. This was rare and filled with excuses. On 7th March I suggested a £50k reduction. Over Easter I was talking to someone about my property and went on Rightmove to show them (property also on Zoopla and other platforms including their own) only to find, I was no longer listed. I then discovered an email a couple of days earlier stating 'they would no longer act on my behalf and did not want to over expose my property'. There are properties on way longer than mine. A new agent would be exposing my property in order to sell so this statement baffled me. My delay in chasing them was due to my father's accident and then death and my mother being rushed into hospital for tests. They were aware of my situation. Not a heartfelt company. Perhaps, if my property was a regular property, it would have been easy; simple terrace or semi in road of the same. But if you have a unique detached in a private lane not so for Fox and Sons. I feel so let down, hence this review. I feel they removed me so that I did not make their launch to sales figures look terrible.
