Horrific customer service, outrages charges for literally doing nothing. No certainty you will get what you were promised - absolutely scandalous practices. I will never use again cause I apprecaite good night sleep not worrying about when and for how much Fenix Prperty will screw me....

I have used Fenix property for numerous years since they first started at the base in Sunderland. Steve does the viewings and is very good with prospective tenants and is able to communicate on any level finding out exactly what they want. Alison is the latest staff link at the office, is very personable and knows what she's talking about. As a landlord I want decent tenants quickly, and Fenix fulfil this remit perfectly. All the best for 2016 and keep up the good work....

From start to finish my experience with Fenix property was excellent they had to rush everything for me and they did so. I have used Fenix Property for a lot of years now and always found them to be reliable and trustworthy. They have always found me tenants for my property's. Because im the landlord i have the final say who goes into my property if they fail referencing then its a no, simple as that. The staff are very friendly and helpful....

Disappointed customer who ended up losing out on a property because of Fenix property. Luckily researched the company before committing and found that the couple who own it*. You will find this company has previously liquidated four other companies of the same name and started them up again using new company numbers. They are an absolute disgrace and should be avoided at all costs! It will only be a matter of time before their fifth company is dissolved too and don't try to find their offices in...

The landlord was more than happy to meet up with us again thank you when we got his contact details. Also Peter Ross who we have now gone through sat with us and went through everything from credit checks, references, documentation checks and the whole process was done and dusted in 40 minutes. And please don't threaten me as we found out info about yourselves that made us uncomfortable with your business. Also it is strange our landlord came to find your office and it was nicely hidden away.....

I was in the process of trying to secure a property. My partner and I had given Fenix the holding fee of £240. We then decided to investigate further after looking at reviews that in all honesty just seemed poor and after some digging we found some very interesting info. Nothing. They are not a secure company to work with and should not be in operation as they have been overdue on their accounts several times and have dissolved and liquidated their business.

Fees seemed ok until they started telling us we had to pay the full years rent on a certain date when we offered to do so even though it was an offer on our part to speed up the process.

The initial £1110 should go to Fenix then the landlords cut should reach them. The other £4500 for rent should have gone to the landlord not through Fenix which is what was going to happen.....

I have never left reviews and im not likely to in the future, however on this occasion I feel this is a must to ensure no other innocent person has to go through what we, and I can only assume, other people have been through. When my tenant left the property on 1 June, she told Fenix Property that she had said that myself, (the landlord) could keep the bond as the house was in a state. Dear Jon, When a Landlord puts a property on the market they give us an address, and this is what we advise our customers for their viewing, until we hear from the Landlord that the property is no longer available we will keep marketing it and arranging the viewings. Occasionally a Landlord owns numerous properties in the same building, and calls us regularly to advise us of an update as to what is available and also what has now been let. We placed a holding fee on a property that was offered by fenix, they seemed very eager to get this from us constantly ringing whilst we were at work stating ' you will loose the property if you do not pay today' which we did. 6 months rent was offered! Why don't you check your recorded calls? And why did your agent repeatedly mention myself being pregnant? I recently let my property in Washington with Fenix Property and I was very pleased with the service I received! The staff were polite, professional and helped every way they could! They helped me with every step of the process from putting my property live on rightmove, zoopla etc., to helping us on the day the tenant moved in. The worst letting experience I have ever had from a letting agency. Both unprofessional and disorganised.
